Does anyone have any guidance about what we should be prepping?

Do you have an escape bag? What do you keep in it?

Should we start planting some root vegetables?

why?

Isn’t there a prepper board you could post in?

Tinned tomatoes and toilet roll, same as covid times xD

Really though, the guy has necleur weapons, not sure there's much point prepping when we're probably all going to go cablamo!

I'm thinking I might take a holiday or two though because that's what I regretted not doing more of when covid hit.

If it nuclear we are dead. There's no point prepping we'll all be dead in the end of radiation poisoning and only the elite in bunkers will survive it. Lets hope Boris keeps his nasal passages out of it. I feel sorry for Ukraine but its not our fight

Root veggies take a long time, don't they? Of course, if and it's a big if, we had a nuclear war you can be sure BJ, the Q and other nobs will be in the bunkers well-stocked with caviar ready to carry on civilisation afterwards!

You could plant some carrots and potatoes and hope they grow into edible food before we get bombed, but seeing as that's not a realistic scenario hopefully then you do that OP.

Of course, if we do get dragged into nuclear war, your root vegetables will be dangerously radioactive and hence unfit for human consumption anyway.

I would start panic buying loo roll if I were you, OP. Or do you still have a garage full of the stuff from the last outbreak of mass hysteria?

Go out to the shops right now and buy at least 100 bags of pasta per person and 1000 toilet rolls. Then come back home and make a bomb shelter ASAP. I'm in mine now.

I think the main thing we can do for ourselves is prep our finances. We already know the cost of living is on it's way up, but they'll be further increases on fuels and possibly grains we get from the region, which may become difficult to grow in some areas, and export.

There might come a time when charities need more from us in terms of finances, items we have at home that might be useful for refugees - not a prep for us, but perhaps keep things for now instead of throwing out.

Prepper board might be worth checking out/posting on and people over there are usually on top of what they feel is needed.

You forgot the wine and cheese.

We can go and plant a few veg between all the trees the eco-muppets are growing on land that used to grow edible food like wheat of greens.

The onl thing worth prepping for is what natural food sources to find if turfed from your home and how to kill or get away from someone who wants to kill you. All usless though in a nuclear attack or when facing armed forces. Not worth worrying about.
