Live parking!

We have parking at the rear of our home - there’s six garages and space for four cars to park. Someone has parked across two of the spaces (one is where I park) and the only place for me to park and not inconvenience the other two cars belonging to residents is to block the CF car in.

We live right in a town centre so people do often park there and get really arsey if confronted. There’s a big private sign so it isn’t as if they don’t know.

Anyway, is it too early for wine?

Brother has left - apparently watching Celtic play was vastly more important than picking up teen on my behalf. I would let her get the bus but ungrateful teen has gone and got herself a job in a retail park where the walk to the station involves underpasses and a lonely lane. AND she doesn’t take her goddam phone with her as there’s nowhere safe to leave it so I can’t tell her to get a cab. Arse.

I can stretch to leaving at 4.40 pm. It’s all very quiet still

Thank you OP for restoring my confidence and enjoyment of parking threads!

I realize for just about everyone reading this thread the fact that it went out with a whimper not a bang was a bummer. However, I have been suspicious of all parking threads since Alphabet Street, which turned out to be the same poster as Rainy Puddles and both were deleted owing to likelihood of poster having hairy knuckles and enjoying living under bridges.

I was totally taken in by both of them, and invested, and it was a complete shock when they turned out to be made up. So every parking thread that's looked gripping since then, I can't relax and enjoy it. Even the parks one. But you, OP, with the shitty end, have demonstrated to me that genuine parking threads with gripping elements (the writing of c u next Tuesday on the last CF's car, for example) are REAL.

I have made signs - private parking repeat offenders will be fined because I'm so fed up with it (in our case they have allowed too much development). People still park

Very annoyingly I cannot see what’s happening from my house. So updates will be a bit shit

So is this someone parking to shop or settled in for indeterminate time? I think either needs Uncle Ebenezer but just judging severity of selfishness

LAst time I went looking for penguin bollards, there were no longer in stock :(
However, a lockable pole would still be potentially an option.

Alternatively, you could try getting a tin of yellow paint and painting RESIDENT SPACE ONLY on each space....
