Labour aren't quite in the right place to pick up on this. It's ages till the next election. The tories don't want Boris to stay as he's too unstable to be reliably popular any more. But they haven't worked out who to replace him with. There's no popular cause to rally round.

But they know there are more leaks to come.

Oh phooey to everyone still loves him. If the North still wants Brexit they'll be feeling the effects soon enough whether Bodger is there or not. And they'll be at the front of the whinging queue. The 'support' is Operation Pig Dog in action. Don't fall for it.

I'm no friend of Bozo or Cummings. Both are proven liars so we can choose to believe either or neither. Cummings isn't stupid, liar though he be, so where are the photos? Saving for later presumably and he wasn't the only one with a phone. There must be acres of video to go with these allegations. This could run and run. Local elections in May. That will be interesting.

He managed to stash a lot in that box. I have to say I assumed it was just his beanie hat collection.

Shows what Cummings is about really. Knew the party was happening, sat in the garden drinking with Carrie and Bozo in one ‘work meeting’ and didn’t whistle blow until he’d been kicked out by the wife. None of them smell of roses and none of them are helping to push the message that this was such a deadly illness we all had to sacrifice our last goodbyes, our celebrations, our mental and emotional health, our education. Shame on the lot of them.

Those who end up in the Middle East will gain very useful experience how to drink behind the closed doors...

It will be interesting to see if Bozo ever gets to court, how he will cope without lying.

However, why didn't the Senior Civil servant who sent out the party invitations say he couldn't do that, because such gatherings were illegal? Would Johnson have had him sacked? I doubt it. So although he is being lined up as a scapegoat, he's not exactly innocent. He's not some poor Admin Officer on one of the lowest grades.

Johnson doesn't care about lying to Parliament. He will shrug it off with a 'so what'.

Yesterday Starmer said on television that Johnson was a liar. That isn't covered by Parliamentary privilege. Why doesn't he sue? (I don't need to ask, sacked twice for lying is good enough.)

It doesn’t matter though. He lies to Parliament frequently. If the grassroots Tory party have got it off their chest now and settled down them he’ll limp on till the next bad thing. And in the meantime do untold harm with populist policies to try and win favour. after the may elections the knives will be out properly from his rivals.

I wouldn’t trust any of them to tell the truth, including Cummings, even under oath.

The thought of a prison sentence for perjury might help concentrate their minds.

Prisons, may I remind you, are not for 'people like us', they're for people like you and me and anyone who hasn't got enough friends and money to raise a defence. I'm feeling quite bitter this morning. Heard radio presenter vaguely pondering why the English is such a nation of forelock tuggers when Europeans are not. Forebore to remind him what happened to the majority of European aristocracy when the masters went too far. France remembers as we frequently see.

I've just watched the Sky interview, from behind my hands. It was so dreadful. And the mask. He might as well have come out in a balaclava or full PPE. How are the Tory party putting up with this. His defence is now he's an idiot and if he can't remember then it didn't happen.
