Stupidly hard work quiz (help!)

If anyone remembers previous years my work sets a stupidly hard quiz for us to have a go at every Christmas. This year's is no different....

I've managed to complete the first 8 puzzles myself but now I'm stuck Xmas Sad Very frustrating as I've got the gist of the puzzles but can't figure out what the answer is!

Here's the first one and here's my answers. If anyone can figure out the final answer (two words 5,7) I'd be ever so grateful 😊

So... all the others were a red herring. Something to keep us occupied. All we had to do was work out the films in clues 5 and 7? Meaning 5 and 7 did some very heavy lifting.

Nope. Don't like it. It's like a bad science fiction novel. The hero gets trapped, is sure to die, and suddenly pulls out his flembick apparatnilock - which kills/open/fixes/freezes/greases/elimates any and all threats.

Lazy!

To be fair if we worked out the numbers it would probably spell "director of five and seven" or something.

How do you find out whether it's right or not? Do you have to put the answers into a website or something?

Yep, 27 is Newcastle. I think it's called the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the building that looks like a slug on the side is called the Sage.

14 is Edinburgh.
