I never understand the love for it.

I found it funny but I love the fact it actually changed the film industry. It was a female led film with no big names that was successful & made it easier for the likes of Pitch Perfect to get made.

I hate Bridesmaids! Especially the gross out toilet scene signposted from the moment she suggested eating in that restaurant. Only seen it once , that was enough.

It was ok, had a COUPLE of funny moments, some of it awful, some sad.
The one with Rebel Wilson, Isn’t it Romantic, is much funnier., but there are lots much funnier, nicer films out there than Bridesmaids.

It was another false advertising claim, comedy film, that really wasn’t, sadly

I do love Bridesmaids, but I think Airplane is the funniest film I've ever seen. Its just so silly, I've seen it loads of times but still laugh my head off at it

Bridesmaids is a bit formulaic though, woman feels jealous and wants to outdo new friend, cue toilet humour, drunken mess on flight due to drug mishap... yawn

I enjoyed it but agree it was too long ( same as lots of films)

I couldn't really get on with Bridesmaids, found it more awkward than funny. Loved - We're The Millers, Vacation, Horrible Bosses. There are probably others but they're the ones that stand out over the last decade or so for me.

Another person here who didn't find Bridesmaids funny. Similar to another poster I can think of more that I didn't like than ones I do but some are:
Hot Tub Time Machine
The Cornetto Trilogy
Four Lions
Zoolander (although the way women are portrayed in that and other similar films now really bothers me)
Easy A
Black Sheep
Blazing Saddles

Loved bridesmaids op and think I’ve now watched it too many times
