Don't stay awake - the earlier eta was probably incorrect. Still no confirmation AF1 is airborne and whispers that it will be early morning now. But don't go to sleep just in case they are on schedule 😩

I'm interested in who is landing at Prestwick. I was talking to someone who works at Glenapp Castle in South Ayrshire last week. She said the whole hotel (only about 20 rooms) was booked out for a visiting delegation.

She was quite tight lipped but said it was a Middle Eastern type country as they had been training in the culture and there was the possibility female staff would not be doing front of house work.

Could it be UAE?

Meanwhile…the aurora flight from Edinburgh is now doing zigzags west of Orkney and Shetland so both sides of the cabin can get a look🤣
