No surprise that the met have stopped. Their investigation into PA.

OP posts:
@prh47bridge he claimed that as he was in public he couldn't have been in another place. We don't know where he was after he left Pizza Express.
And you accept the inability to sweat is a lie?
A question that won't get an answer, julieca. PA isn't the only man in the world that talks bollocks all day.

julieca · 12/10/2021 15:04

@ChurchofLatterDayPaints Yep agreed.
Andrew is so obviously a liar. He doesn't even lie well.

I know many people regard this claim as unbelievable. However, since there are a number of confirmed cases of individuals developing an unexplained inability to sweat during military and extreme training (acquired idiopathic generalised anhidrosis, to use the scientific name), it is possible Andrew's claim was true. It may have been a lie, but I don't know one way or the other.

@prh47bridge a rare medical condition that comes and goes from the many available public photos of him sweating.
Of course, he is lying.

julieca · 12/10/2021 15:14

And Andrew should feature in the medical literature-

Acquired idiopathic generalized anhidrosis (AIGA) is characterized by an acquired impairment in total body sweating despite exposure to heat or exercise. Severe cases may result in heatstroke. Most cases of AIGA have been reported in Asia, especially in Japan.

@GCAcademic

I don’t know why people are turning this into a big class issue. It’s not like many accusations of rape ever get anywhere near a court in this country anyway. What’s the prosecution rate? 1% or something? It’s not like other men who may or may not be rapists need to feel hard done by compared to PA.
I take your point. PA is' getting away with it'. So do almost all other men.

But what IS the point of the Royal Family then?
If they are 'just like us' (ie not protected due to being 'specia'l) why do they need Palaces / the untold wealth of The Crown?
Why sell access to Senior Royals (as many minor Royals have)
Why did Savile crawl around them so much (& why the hell did Charles allow it?) Are they not supposed to 'set an example' in public life? If not, why does the Queen 'Address the Nation' in times of crisis, like Covid? Why do we spend a fortune on Royal Weddings & Funerals?

As for The MET - they will not investigate properly because it is a man being accused of a sex crime by a woman. End of.

ChurchofLatterDayPaints · 12/10/2021 15:43

The point of the RF is to perpetuate the RF.

He only claimed to have suffered from the condition temporarily. He did not claim it was permanent. I agree that the balance of probabilities is that this particular claim is untrue but, as I don't have access to his medical records, I cannot say that definitively.

ancientgran · 12/10/2021 15:47
@ancientgran Andrew is a fat middle-aged man. That is simply the facts.
In terms of lying - I have a rare condition that means I can't sweat, I couldn't be guilty as I was a Pizza Express in Woking (did not prove his innocence on bit). He is an obvious liar. So it puzzles me that anyone would believe him.
I don't think he was fat in the photo with VG, I mean he was never skinny but I wouldn't call him fat. Lots of people lie, most of them don't lie all the time but I find it hard to trust people if they lie to me. The fact is one of the two women quoted earlier isn't telling the truth, they can't both be right can they? Or then again maybe people just get things wrong.

I worked in police admin for many year, one of the jobs I did for a couple of years was putting files together for court e.g. making sure all the statements were there with typed copies and typed accurately e.g. if someone crosses a word out in their statement and puts another word you do the same when typing. It always amazed me when witnesses would tell such different stories. I don't mean people with a connection to the criminal or the victim but innocent uninvolved bystanders. Sometimes it was hard to find any similarities e.g was it 2 men or 3, was he bald or had a hat on, were they black/white/asian/mixed race. That's before you even get to who threw the first punch. They would all swear they were telling it exactly as it happened, prepared to go into court and swear to it.

So in legal matters I won't jump to conclusions, I won't "convict" someone, I leave it to the courts and that is hard enough. Being on a jury isn't an easy job unless you are one of those people who "just know" who did it and why.

Biologically that is the point of everyone isn't it?
julieca · 12/10/2021 15:52

Bystanders to a crime telling different stories is often because memory can be poor. They are not lying. In the same way the girls in Rotherham were accused of lying as some did get details wrong, until there was clear evidence that they were telling the truth.

@prh47bridge there are zero accounts of anyone ever having that incredibly rare disorder in a way that came and went. He is either a medical miracle and the only case in the world, or he is a liar.

I have just googled photo of Andrew at 40, and yes he was fat then too.

ancientgran · 12/10/2021 15:53

Bit sweeping, DCI Colin Sutton caught Levi Bellfield and Delroy Grant. The met even caught Sarah Everard's killer although people will tell you they always cover for their own. Obviously there are others.

ChurchofLatterDayPaints · 12/10/2021 15:53

Yes, ancientgran. But most of us manage it without abusing other people and inventing false pretences to grab their money.

There is no point to them.

Was that the photo with VG? He doesn't look fat in it to me. Either way being fat isn't a crime and it doesn't prove he's guilty of a sex crime. Being sleazy isn't either. They don't prove anything other than people are not being objective.
julieca · 12/10/2021 15:55

@ancientgran people get details wong. So who else exactly was there, sometimes the exact date or time. People don't forget their medical conditions or if they have been raped.

julieca · 12/10/2021 15:57

@ancientgran Are you Andrew? Yes he is fat in that photo. Of course that is not a sign of guilt. But objectively he is fat and middle-aged. Why would you care about this unless you are Andrew or maybe his daughters?

ancientgran · 12/10/2021 15:57

If there ever is a trial of PA in this country I hope people who "know" he is guilty recuse themselves if they get called for jury service.

ChurchofLatterDayPaints · 12/10/2021 15:58

It's good for a laugh this thread, if nothing else.

The posters doggedly refusing to look at any context or evidence whatsoever are now telling other posters they are "not being objective".

julieca · 12/10/2021 15:59

Andrew will never be in court. Don't be so naive.

I don't care anymore than you do. He doesn't look fat in that photo to me, as I said not skinny but fairly normal man of his age I'd have thought but there you go two people looking at a photo and seeing two different things.

Bit childish, or are you VG? Why do you care if you aren't her?

ChurchofLatterDayPaints · 12/10/2021 16:00

Panorama was PA's Barnard Castle moment. Except Cummings then redeemed himself by spilling the beans on his boss.

PA can't do that.

Oh, the irony.

You’re right @ancientgran. In fact I hope they never do jury duty at all because there’s very little chance they’d even consider the evidence.

I see two sorts of posts
 1. He is guilty, I 100% know she's telling the truth.
 2. Don't know if he's guilty.

I haven't seen a 3rd group saying they "know" he is innocent. Has anyone said that?

Which group is objective in your book.

julieca · 12/10/2021 16:02

@ancientgran Yes most middle-aged men are fat. Two thirds of the population are overweight or obese and the proportions are higher as people age. So no being fat as a man at 40 is not unusual, but it does not change facts.

I have been on jury service twice and listened very objectively to the evidence. It is an important role.
This is a forum. I have no power to send Andrew to jail.
