Ham, egg and chips once the children are in bed

Beef and mushroom stroganoff with rice

Roast turkey breast joint, roast potatoes, runner beans and sweet corn . Couldn’t be bothered with a roast yesterday. Chilli tomorrow.

Spaghetti Bol for 5he kids, a labour of love as I can't stand mince, but they asked.

Dh away working tonight.

I've just had a fish finger sandwich.

Grilled Cajun salmon and noodles.

Lovely big whole breast chicken kievs, mashed potato, carrots and broccoli.

Chilli con carne and potato wedges, steak and wedges for DS2 who is allergic to tomato.

The day there is no motivation I stick a pizza in the oven

Had planned to make garlicky salmon pasta but two DC's said they weren't hungry so made sausages and cauliflower cheese instead.

A sort of vegetable, chickpea and quinoa ratatouille thing with lots of garlic and coriander served with brown rice. Was lovely although DH a bit windy now

And no. Not always this healthy. Tomorrow it’s quorn burgers with oven chips and onion rings

I made a cocunut thai curry with quorn pieces, courgettes, turnip and green beans. Had it with rice. It was delicious! My daughter had rice with a dippy egg. My son had leftover pizza as he hates rice and curry.

Last night we had eggs florentine (home made suasage and egg muffins for the DCs).

Tonight I am doing a very very mild prawn korma.

Caramelised onion and cheese frittata with chips and baked beans here. I was planning on serving it with salad and coleslaw but I’ve been overruled as it’s so chilly here !

I really like the sound of this one.

I have turned my prawn korma into a sweet potato and green bean korma for DH who is veg and will do just prawns and rice for the very sedately palated Dcs.

On Thursday though we are having McDonalds as it is a late after school club day and I am REALLY looking forward to it.

Mince and dumplings, carrots, parsnip, peas, broccoli and mash served in a giant Yorkshire pudding

Tonight we’re having braised lamb shank in a rosemary and port wine sauce, with mash. It feels so autumnal here...

Don’t know what veg I’ll do as accompaniment yet as it’ll be whatever suits and most needs using. Thinking about it that’ll probably be Savoy cabbage and carrots, but I’ll need to double check.

Cauliflower Mac and cheese tonight for us with some tenderstem broccoli and peas.
I made it yesterday so very little work involved tonight

I’m doing toad in the hole, mash, carrots, broccoli and gravy. Can’t wait!

Roast ham, bubble and squeak and cauliflower cheese.

Tonight it's sausage and mash (Morrison's posh sausages) with peas, red cabbage and onion rings. Not my favourite so might get dh to go to the shops on the way home and get me fish cakes instead.

Mexican tomorrow - after 2 nights of things I don't like, that'll be good!
