jorisbohnson2 you are definitely not alone. All I can say is try to de stress it takes an age but for your own sanity you have to.

I’ve been awake for hours after telephone consultation in which I told doctor my insomnia was no more Confused

Awaiting DS2 GCSE results. DS1 got his A levels on Tuesday.
A stressful week!

Mydogisagentleman · 12/08/2021 06:13

Have been up since 3.30ish because of a ridiculously painful arm. Had loads of ibuprofen which hasn’t really touched it.
It’s been going on for about a week. I tried to get a doctors appointment but have a physio phoning me next week!

Did you injure your arm or is this just random pain?

Someone should really look at today if it's sore enough to keep you awake at night.

@Msfoxy17

Pregnant and had just had about my fourth wee of the night and was settling back to sleep when 3 year old DD comes into room and has tossed and turned and kept me awake for an hour now. Dont know how to sort this before baby no 2 arrives and I'm even more sleep deprived Hmm
Very difficult but you have to do it now!!! I had the same issue.

You have to take them back to bed. I used to then sit outside the door (leave a pillow Wink). You'll have a few terrible nights but better now than after!!

mrssunshinexxx · 12/08/2021 11:58

@AngryWolf 28 weeks tomorrow experiencing shortness of breath and a really sore throat, slight cough nothing too horrific yet but really nervous it's going to get worse x

mrssunshinexxx · 12/08/2021 12:01

@AngryWolf yes midwife lovely she's checking in on me on the phone daily x

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 12/08/2021 14:59

@Mydogisagentleman - I agree that you need to go and get that checked out. A painful arm that wakes you up and isn't relieved by movement or nurofen needs checking out, especially if it's going into your shoulder as well.

Mydogisagentleman · 13/08/2021 13:02

Thanks to those who replied about my sore arm. Apparently it’s tendinitis.
I was given Amiltryptaline and Tramadol.
I slept like the dead (15 hours) and the pain is greatly reduced

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 13/08/2021 15:36

Pleased to hear that, @Mydogisagentleman Thanks
