I agree about Queenie. Poor woman. What a year for her. But how can PA prove anything? Virginia Guiffre says it happened. Prince Andrew says it didn't happen. People have already said they believe her over him. He can't win the case. He will face the court from here. All lurid details will be heard. It will be even worse for the Queen. PA has to hope the judge forbids sexual details from being discussed as superfluous to the case as often happens. Whatever happens, the Queens is going to be mortified for some time yet.

OK. Thats a fair comment for some. I assume you remember everyone you've made out with which I think is very reasonable. And laudable. But maybe you have had a more sheltered life than others who have had one night stands.

I was on that thread, and it was less cheering and more posters saying that if a 14 and 16 year old are going out, it was probably responsible for the 14 year old boy to have been given condoms so that should the situation arise, he had the means to have safe sex.

Unfortunately the poster you're replying to seems to think adults giving teenagers the means to be safe in teenage relationships is a trump card on a thread about trafficking children for the purposes of sexual exploitation.

It's a sibling argument to the one up thread: but 17 year olds can consent to sex so VR must have been up for everything and knew what she was doing.

The willingness of posters to confuse consenting peer relationships with adults abusing children is scary.

Thanks, Lola , I haven't read that thread, but suspected that it was something of the sort, ie VR was 17 so it's all ok because 17 year olds (and younger!) have sex.

Even if, and it's a very big if, she willingly had sex with him, it doesn't alter the fact that she was groomed by that filthy bastard Epstein and his sidekick Maxwell.
At the point of her being 17, she had probably had her head turned by the paedophiles, but what a groomed child understands and what someone even just ten years older, who have never been groomed understands is a huge difference.
Even if she was happy to have sex, the sad fact is that she was groomed into thinking that it was perfectly fine and normal.
So I hope she sues the fat allegedly none sweaty arse off him and wins.
Why PA blatantly lied about never meeting her, or can't recall meeting her, rather than lying and saying yes, I met her but I never had sex with her, I have no idea, but it would have been slightly more credible than a flat out lie.

The financial compensation for victims in a range of cases were been sealed.
The question is why you'd want to take Maxwell's word on anything given her involvement in Epstein's affairs.

Given up thread your posts were deleted by MNHQ for victim blaming, minimising child sexual abuse and arguing there might be mitigating circumstances when older men havs sex with children, why are you still intent on trying to smear a woman who has come forward, with countless others, to speak about a network of grooming and child sexual exploitation?

It was on the news, yes she has given money to charities and they gave her recognition for that but she has kept a lot for herself. I think Maxwells case it due to start next Thursday and we will have to see the outcome.

I'm no authority on one-night-stands, but I wonder if people who do have them might recall/not recall the other person in the same way that I might not remember, say, a beauty therapist who gave me a pedicure/facial/massage 20 years ago?
To be clear, I am NOT defending any of this, and there are no "buts" to my point. Nor am I saying that this case is about one-night stands, as it is clear that these poor girls were not consenting adults. I'm just trying to see if the "I don't recall" defence has any legs.

The Maxwell court case starts at the end of November, postponed from July at Maxwell's Defence team's request. They fought long and hard for this postponement, so no, it doesn't start next week

Also I would appreciate a link showing she's sued Maxwell already.
