Where WOULD you go back to?

On the back of the other thread, which is really interesting, about places you wouldn't want to go back to, either because it was unpleasant or because you saw it all while there, I thought it would be interesting to know where people WOULD go back to.

I'll start:

New Zealand - beautiful, varied scenery around every corner. We only did parts of the South Island and I'd love to see more. Three and a half weeks were not enough!

Edinburgh - we do go back there regularly, it is a beautiful city with an amazing vibe.

Berlin - I loved it and wouldn't mind revisiting one day.

I'd go back to Koh Phangan in a heart beat. Beautiful place. Great food. Ah how I miss the hammocks ... (I didn't even go to a full moon party)

Almost everywhere.

London (my sad old British heart does a little leap every time)

Smoky mountains in Tennessee, cabin in the woods. Heaven. Plus 3 cracker barrels within a mile!

Oh and Crete, didn't do it justice last time, need to stay in different places to explore.

Losokwan conservancy. Conservation area in Kenya where we saw a lion kill, elephants, giraffe, zebra, hyenas, wildebeest. It was magical driving across the African plains stretching as far as the eye could see with only the occasional boaobab tree to interrupt the view.

Japan. I love it there and so disappointed not to have been able to go back last year. Hopefully next year.

Great thread! I’m usually one to explore new places rather than re-visit but these would be at the top of my list:

North-Eastern Spain coast around San Feliu de Guixols and Palamos (haven't been for years, but used to be beautiful coast with masses of pine trees and crystal-clear sea).

Edinburgh. The Irish lake lands * Longford Westmeath Leitrim - virtuak tourist desert. Would have said the Cascade Mountains , Oregon..but it's all on fire now 🔥😥
