Just turned my phone on for long enough to pop on here and let you all know I made it. I have been in Greece for a week now and it is heaven on earth. The only evidence that covid exists is masks on public transport and in closed fronted shops and there is hand gel on tables in restaurants. Wait staff wear masks too.

But life here is spontaneous, you don't have to plan everything to death months in advance and queue for everything and check in all over the place.

This is honestly the happiest I have been in a long time. Currently sat in my cousins garden drinking frappe, eating pastries while the kids play.

I hope you are all doing well and sending my love to you all.

Two middle aged women went awkwardly off to the bushes at the back of the car park... Most services did have open loos, but that one decided that they knew better.

Fortunately for me and the additional needs that women have in toilets, I have reusable products and a wetbag which means no disposal issues, although I didn't have an issue at that point.
