There's no hate In this post. Just watched some of their YouTube content this morning as years ago I saw them on TV. Wow their lives look like one big ball of fun. I'm guessing they have made alot of money from going on TV? Hot tubs and holidays and refurbishing a huge home whilst keeping all those kids in clothes. Not to mention they spend a fortune on every occasion.

I remember it was budgets before. Now it seems they have a never ending supply of money. Certainly not having to count the pennies now. .

Somehow they make family life look constantly fun. I only have 2 children and can't offer mine anywhere near What they have.

They seem to have a lovely family and seem nice people. Just amazes me now how social media has allowed people to get rich for contributing nothing of value to society. Not taking away Noel works hard. Again no hate. But it's ridiculous when normal people struggle to make ends meet.

@Twickerhun

I find it all so grim - better if we don’t feed them any extra publicity. They have miniaturised and commercialised their own children, like so many others, but it’s still grim. The kids can’t consent to their lives being published fans commented on.
’miniaturised’

Like in ‘Honey I shrunk the kids’?

Now that I would like to see 🔎 Grin

ginghamstarfish · 10/07/2021 11:02

I've read about this family, and it seems very tacky and unpleasant to commercialise their own lack of morals, common sense and complete disregard for the world in general.

Popxsixcle · 10/07/2021 11:05

I suppose we do come across as being horrible. I can see they are nice enough people. But do I agree with what they are doing? Not really. Do I hate them? Not at all. There's much worse people out there.

I guess I find them distasteful now. Showing off. Look at us. Look at what we have. Look at our kids clothes. Bedrooms. Expensive presents. Look at our expensive holidays. Look at our fancy garden.

That's what I don't like.

Nice people don’t have sex with kids.

I can see they are nice enough people.

Nice people don’t have sec with kids.

Sorry to say OP but it sounds from your last post that you now don’t like them simply because they’re doing well for themselves. You sound a bit jealous.

lynsey91 · 10/07/2021 11:11

Over the years they will have had a fortune in child benefit alone. Then add the tax credits they definitely did receive even if not receiving them now.

The cost to the NHS for all those births, other medical needs, dental costs must be incredible. Also the cost of education.

Good job we are not all so selfish and stupid or the country would be on its knees.

NautaOcts · 10/07/2021 11:12

Genuine question as don’t want it, but do you ever see them doing reading with the kids or helping them with their homework? Wonder how the children are getting on at school

NautaOcts · 10/07/2021 11:12

*don’t watch it

Popxsixcle · 10/07/2021 11:19

Jelous? For thinking it's distasteful to show off everything you buy when you've not worked hard for it?
Yes please let me have their life from today.
I have 2 kids and have no desire to have anymore thankyou. It would be hell for me.

I was happy for the lad that went in the Navy, I hope he really gets on.
The girl that left for uni came back.

The last child has gone to a different primary school to the others. I did wonder why.

He only lasted a couple of weeks.

Oh really? 🤨

Hopdathelf · 10/07/2021 11:21

Not worked for it? Arguably they are working harder than ever these days. They’re all over the media, doing TV shows, YouTube videos.

DinosaurDiana · 10/07/2021 11:21

WeeFae - that’s a shame, I thought he would really make something of it.

EarringsandLipstick · 10/07/2021 11:21

That’s the best ‘no hate’ OP I’ve read. Such thinly veiled hate

@BeingATwatItsABingThing
Absolutely. Horrible post.

The one who left to join the army is also back isn't he?

It does seem that they don't encourage them to spread their wings and leave home although I suppose it doesn't benefit them to have them move out as if they were only left with a handful of kids at home then they wouldn't be so different to many other families.

EarringsandLipstick · 10/07/2021 11:24

That's what I don't like.

Don't watch it so.

inappropriateraspberry · 10/07/2021 11:28

I feel that she keeps having children as she knows no different. She never had an adolescence/the teenage years and I think she wouldn't know what to do with herself without a baby around. It's almost like an addiction.

Pinuporc · 10/07/2021 11:29

They became famous because of the 15 kids and counting show on C4 I think, which originally featured a few other families as well. At that time they seemed to be on quite a tight budget and trying to save money as best they could (having 1 child a year isnt the best money saving idea to me, but anyway)
I imagine by signing up for more tv shows and allowing their children and their lives to be shown on tv and later their own youtube channel, has significantly increased their income, and thus allowed them a more comfortable lifestyle. Not that much different from other influencers or youtubers in that respect.
They have had a pie business for a long time but that's only part of their income.

DinosaurDiana · 10/07/2021 11:30

They popped up on TikTok yesterday

Nothing but the truth
ChildOfFriday · 10/07/2021 11:37

@DinosaurDiana The younger ones go to a different primary school to the older ones because the distance shrunk one year and one didn't get into the school the older ones went to- I don't know if they have no sibling policy or a policy of kids in catchment before kids out of catchment with siblings. There were some Facebook posts about it at the time and Sue wasn't happy, so I don't think they were unhappy with the original school. Since then the younger ones have gone to the other school.

EarringsandLipstick · 10/07/2021 11:39

@UnChatNoir

The whole concept of this thread is based on hate. If people don't like the family & their choices, don't watch them or follow their lives.

Here's an example of OP's 'truth' that isn't 'hate'

Just amazes me now how social media has allowed people to get rich for contributing nothing of value to society. Not taking away Noel works hard. Again no hate. But it's ridiculous when normal people struggle to make ends meet.

It's horrible.
