What colour is Wednesday?

So, I'm watching the football am bored and was just musing that yellow is a very Ukraine colour - it just suits it. I have no explanation of why. So then I got thinking about random things that have colours in my head. Wednesday is pale green. Tuesday is pale blue. DH thinks I'm weird and that the days don't have colours. But DD says Wednesday is purple she is wrong
So my question is, why do some people associate colours with random things and other people don't?

Tuesday is a bluesday but I can hardly wait until the weekend.

Synesthesia is very common in people with autism and other neuro-divergent conditions. My DD has ADHD and achieved straight A*s in all her GCSE & A Level exams as she sees all facts and information in colours which helps her to remember huge amounts of information quickly. She can look at sheets of maths/science formulae, long lists of history dates, language vocab etc, any information really and memorise it all at a glance.

She said that I apparently have a brown glow, which I felt was a very disappointing colour to be, but apparently I'm a cosy warm brown!

Wednesday is orange. Tuesday is yellow.

Monday is dark blue
Tuesday is pink
Wednesday is green
Thursday is purple
Friday is yellow
Saturday is a sandy beige
Sunday is a pale yellow.

Wednesday is blue though.

Wednesday is also green to me. Tuesday yellow.

For me, all the letters (and numbers) have colours. The letters affect the colour of words. The most important letters in giving words their colour are initial letters and vowels. Particularly with names/days of week/months/countries etc.

England is pale pink, France is dark green, Germany is light brown etc.

So glad to see so many of you have the correct colour for Wednesday . It can only be green!

I see lots of things in grids too. And some words kind of have a 3d feeling around them. I have a few words that I associate with other things - I remember mentioning them as a child and being completely surprised that no one else thought like that.

I don't see sounds but that always seems an interesting form of synaesthesia.

Friday is green
Saturday is pink
And Sunday is yellow...

Wednesday morning is grey, but then after lunch it shifts to a light blue. Thursday is a bright blue, with Friday an almost neon green. Your DD and OH are most definitely BU!!

Wednesday is light blue. It is also above and to the left of Tuesday.

EmmaGrundyForPM Wednesday is dark green for me, but yes, definitely above and to the left of Tuesday! The position of the days of the week is more important than the colour. Wednesday is smack bang in the middle and straight ahead.

I see week days as colours too :)

Monday - blood red but a little opaque
Tuesday - teal/peacock feathers
Wednesday - lemon yellow
Thursday - purple
Friday - mustard yellow
Saturday - dark blue
Sunday - grey to white

I also associate letters of the alphabet with colours and have clear favourite letters which seem more aesthetically pleasing through colour and form, namely A, J, N, S, Z.

I assumed it was because maybe there was a coloured chart at my first year of school and I learnt the days of the week through colour?

On Wednesdays we wear pink.
