Good, why has it taken this long.

The body language in the video is telling. He’s all over her. She’s much less keen. I wonder if she is part of a set up?

GlutenFreeGingerCake · 26/06/2021 22:03

Normally I would say people have a right to a private life and we shouldn't be spying on people; but in this case he had arguably one of the most important jobs of our time as Health Secretary, with the whole country affected by life or death decisions he made and people making huge sacrifices by not seeing loved ones and putting their own lives at risk working in the NHS. He had a duty to take this role seriously at all times and so I think he does deserve to lose his job and his reputation over this.

thenightsky · 26/06/2021 22:07

@Postboxwatcher

Why can’t they put someone in as health secretary who understands the NHS and the people working in it.

Sajid Javid is an investment banker.....

Absolutely this ^^
Feedingthebirds1 · 26/06/2021 22:07

Ultimately, I think politics can be a noble calling. Politics after all, is how we organise ourselves when there is no higher authority. The trick is to create and perpetuate a politics that brings out the best in the participants

But my view isn’t panglossian. We are all fallen. We are only human. We have flaws and vices and failures of character and of resolve. But the best way to keep the powerful honest is accountability - in this world and the next - and the rough, often tough scrutiny of the press keeps us real in the here-and-now.

MH's own words, from the link @Eve gave.

Sounds ideal. Investment bankers.

Work 24/7, mostly super bright.

Make money , run efficiently, keep their client happy.

If the NHS was run by the CEO of Tesco, it wouldn't waste the millions it does and be full over overpaid middle managers.

Guavafish · 26/06/2021 22:14

@Wineisrequired

Absolute cockwomble should have gone ages ago. Whoever set up the hidden camera has done us all a favour. Feel sorry for his wife and kids though
It’s scary!
bollihigh · 26/06/2021 22:23

Gove is rumoured to like his sherbet dabs which in turn can make one horny or so I've been told. Abbott's hints are all over Twitter like a rash.

AlecTrevelyan006 · 26/06/2021 22:24

Hancock is a complete fool - there's absolutely no way that he and Coladangelo are going to end up as a couple.

Thewinterofdiscontent · 26/06/2021 22:25

@Regulus

Dreadful news. Resigned because he couldn't keep his cock in his trousers, not because he is responsible for 1000's deaths.
Oh FFS. He us not responsible for 1,000’s deaths. What a ridiculous thing to say.
PerkingFaintly · 26/06/2021 22:29

He means Gove as PM and him (DC) back in Downing Street.

Yep, #RegimeChange means Gove as PM, Cummings as backroom boy – and all the civil service swept away and replaced by Cummings' chums and oddballs.

Except any Civil Servants who make his tea. Sure they'll be allowed to stay.

Cateau · 26/06/2021 22:29

hikris

Honey12346 · 26/06/2021 22:29

He undoubtedly IS responsible for 1000s of deaths, and not just deaths with covid.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 26/06/2021 22:31

Am also annoyed by the fact that the paps are chasing his poor wife around-and fair play she’s not hiding but where is the OW and her husband in this. Why is it just the poor wife who gets fucked over in a different way?

SJ is my MP and is an arse who says everything you want to hear but then does nothing about anything. And yes-he’s a banker so no knowledge of health at all. Am hoping his knowledge of money will help in the way funds are spent and we can start cutting out most of the useless middle management who do fuck all and use that money for HCP and social care.

IvorHughJarrs · 26/06/2021 22:31

@Totallydefeated

Of course he needs to go, but it’s concerning that he was caught on a spy camera. Who put that there, and why? And how were they able to?

This needs to be answered, not buried under the salacious details.

Also - what is this meant to distract us from noticing?

This is my concern too. How many spy cameras are there in ministerial offices? What else are they capturing besides illicit snogs? Who is behind this?
Bananasarnie · 26/06/2021 22:32

I’m sick of seeing this man’s ugly mug every time I look at the news. It’s making the news so much more disappointing and depressing than it already is!

MaMelon · 26/06/2021 22:32

Agree @Honey12346. Thousands have died through his ineptitude and lies.

herethereandeverywhere · 26/06/2021 22:33

Oh FFS. He us not responsible for 1,000’s deaths. What a ridiculous thing to say.

Who was responsible for allowing COVID +ve people back into care homes then lied about it? 🤔

Wineisrequired · 26/06/2021 22:35

@ guavafish yes it is scarey that we have people like this idiot in government telling us what to do. I bet more stuff comes out about him over the next few days

PerkingFaintly · 26/06/2021 22:36

I just commented on another thread that Javid back in, will harm Cummings getting back in.

Cummings' bitter, self-aggrandising, little tweet suggests he rather agrees with my assessment!Grin

(Actually, it's oxymoronic saying "Cummings" and "self-aggrandising" in the same sentence, isn't it?)

tenredthings · 26/06/2021 22:42

So now they can draw a line under all the thousands of unnecessary deaths , billions ... yes billions, 53 to be exact, of pounds given to their mates dodgy PPE companies ! Never mind that others have broken rules and no one gave a toss. Here is their staged fall guy, with his hand on his cock, fulfilling his dead cat role. We are so being played by this government.
I bet he's overjoyed to be free from his position and with the bonus of a lover boy label.

Dustyboots · 26/06/2021 22:45

Are there cameras in every office in the house of commons - or wherever it is the ministers work?

If there are - Hancock would have known there was a camera there so why would he have been so brazen?

If cameras in minister's offices is normal - then Hancock has set this up himself surely ...? For some reason.

If the camera has been put there secretly - why are no questions being asked?

Why are no questions being asked about this???

frumpety · 26/06/2021 22:45

The NHS isn't there to make money, did nobody tell you ? It is there to provide a free at point of contact service to 67 million people, regardless of their previous health conditions, age, sex, race, financial status etc. It see's everyone regardless of any of those things, because regardless of where you think you are now, you have no idea where you will be in a year or so.

Pixxie7 · 26/06/2021 22:46

He has obviously done the right thing, however I still think he should have been sacked. Boris Johnson can’t keep protecting his ministers surely.
