Prime Day 2021: find great deals here

SaraMumsnet · 21/06/2021 06:13

Hi everyone
Welcome to the annual Mumsnet Prime Day thread. This is where we’ll share the best deals we can find over the Prime Day period, and where we encourage you to share your finds too. We know Amazon isn’t for everyone, but if you’re after some bargains then put a watch on the thread and be sure to let us know if you’re after something in particular - we’ll be more than happy to hunt down a deal for you if we can. You do need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the deals, so if you want to sign up, click [[https://amzn.to/2SRHb7w
here]] to get started.

Plus, if you fancy getting deals straight to your inbox, we’ll be sending out a special edition of our Money Saver newsletter llater this morning with a roundup of the best discounts we’ve found. Click here to visit your newsletter preference centre and sign up.

Here's our pick of the best deals we've come across so far - we will post more throughout the day and don't forget that Prime Day carries on tomorrow so we'll be back then too.

Amazon eero Pro mesh Wi-Fi router/extender £97, was £149

eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 30C £153, was £290 (take a look at this thread about Eufy Robovacs here)

A Mumsnet favourite Grin - Finish All-in-One Max Dishwasher Tablets £11, was £26

Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill and Air Fryer £150, was £250

Fitbit Versa 2 Health & Fitness Smartwatch with Voice Control £120, was £200

NIP+FAB No Needle Fix £10, was £20

Philips Lumea Prestige IPL Cordless Hair Removal Device £270, was £450

Tommee Tippee Complete Feeding Set £54, was £160

Logitech G432 Wired Gaming Headset £35, was £70

LEGO 60197 City Passenger Train Set £71, was £120

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 12.3? Tablet (Black) £749, was £1169

Here's some information about Prime Day - when it is, what you can expect and also how to cancel Prime so you don’t get tied into an annual subscription if you don’t want one.

This year, Prime Day falls on the 21st and 22nd June - meaning that Prime customers can access exclusive deals - some to rival those seen on Black Friday weekend. Prime plans cost £79 for a year, or £7.99 a month. There's a 30-day free trial (sign up here) if you don’t want to commit to membership but want to take advantage of the great deals.
If you don’t want to pay for Prime after your free trial has ended, you can follow our handy guide on how to cancel Prime.

FYI, if you recommend deals on the thread, we might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful to other users.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).
@BradPittsLeftTit air fryers are brilliant! The only question in my mind is whether to get another bigger one before my old one has broken...
I'm after one with a dehydrator that will fit a chicken, and the ninjas are looking good at the moment.

I am, however, paralysed by indecision.

I'm interested in BBQ deals if anyone sees any!
Hey @picklemewalnuts - aside from the one I posted slightly upthread I can't see too many barbecue deals at the moment. Will keep a lookout tomorrow though!

@Sometimesfraught82

Solar powered garden lights please Really good ones!
Sorry @Sometimesfraught82 - missed your post about garden lights! There are these string solar lights on a limited time deal for £11 (usual price £16). Or if you were after non-string lights then these ones that go in the ground are £14, reduced from £24. Hope that helps!

I'm pressing the watch tab & it's not responding at all - I wondered if I was watching too many things so deleted lots, but it's still not letting me watch - I'm on the app by the way.
@SaraMumsnet
mine has being doing this for months now. I tap watch and it doesn't do anything but then it shows up in my watch list anyway 🤔

SaraMumsnet · 21/06/2021 17:32

OK everyone, that's me done for today Grin Wine

Don't forget that Prime Day continues tomorrow so we'll be back on the thread from 9am with more deals. Please do continue to tell us what you're looking for, and let us know if you come across any great discounts.

Thanks everyone for suggestions. We have enough sensory/fiddle/light stuff to open our own shop 😀

It is so hard to find something that she will see as a present, but isn’t a repeat of something we already have. We have every board game suitable for her range (it seems), she has younger siblings, so over the years all toys have been covered too - have enough train track and small world toys to set up a model village, enough geomag/magnetic tiles to quip a preschool, etc.

And as if that wasn’t bad enough, I have grandparents asking for ideas too (which is lovely, obviously, but I don’t have enough ideas of my own!).

I will keep hunting through the deal pages and see if anything jumps out at me.

princessandthedragon · 21/06/2021 19:04

Has anyone seen any deals on rattan garden corner sofas with good reviews? The only one I've seen has no reviews which makes me a bit suspicious. Thank you!

LividBlabber · 21/06/2021 19:19

I’m after a telly.

Maybe 42 inches or less.

Trumpton · 21/06/2021 19:45

Thank you @Mrsfussypants1
Mission accomplished. I topped up my Amazon gift card by £50 and they put the extra £7 on straight away.

picklemewalnuts · 21/06/2021 20:00

Argh, I've just spent a lot of money! Oh well.

userchange8945 · 21/06/2021 20:24

Anyone seen any good vacuums? Don't want Shark as the last one we had was shocking and not a patch on dyson, but fed up of paying hundreds for dyson for their batteries to pack in after a year!

Bufferingkisses · 21/06/2021 20:27

Perfect, thank you!

Robin60 · 21/06/2021 21:04

Are there any solar lights available?

PerciphonePuma · 21/06/2021 21:16

I completely disagree about Sharks! Ours have all been amazing and found the Dysons to be shocking

@SaraMumsnet No issue for me watching the thread using the app??

That's been happening to me for weeks. It doesn't actually register anything when I press 'watch'. However, it does actually put the thread onto my watch list.
