@wfh21 - well said. I am not sure that some people know that there was a change in office personnel, as far as I am aware, a few years ago. When I first joined DICT8 you could reply to the feedback and have an intelligent conversation, and they admitted if they had made a mistake, then suddenly it changed, and all replies to feedback got directed to she who must not be named and the official line was that they never made mistakes. It was generally seen that the office atmosphere in DICT8 changed, staff were frightened to speak out etc. I still keep in touch with some of the ladies from the hospital where I worked and one lady there used to work in the office in DICT8 in London and when there was office politics in the hospital she often threatened to go back, however I think less so in recent times. Now there are so many transcription companies DICT8 do need to pull their socks up and improve.
@Workingfromhomenow - I am more annoyed by those who mumble their letters and then when it gets to giving their names suddenly speak up loudly, and I think "what have you go to be so proud about?" It is more important that they give the patient details clearly than their own.
