After been desperate to watch the gifted and not finding it anywhere cheap, hurrah, Disney plus has it. Loved it...till I found it was cancelled after season 2 Sad

More that gutted me:-
Firefly
Dollhouse
Dark Angel
Hex

There’s probably more that I will add but these are off the go of my head

I have just finished Flashforward on Disney+. All set up for another series.

Another one for me was called Defying Gravity. Cancelled half way through first season due to bad reviews... But I wanted to know what the thing was!

Someone mentioned Charmed... When the reboot was announced a couple not years back I got a bit excited but it's just a rehash not a continuation... (I was hoping for the kids to take over).

I need to decide what to watch next now I've finished Flashforward...

Lessstressedhemum · 17/05/2021 22:32

I was totally devastated when they cancelled The Quest. I had such a crush on Kurt Russell.

Alcatraz.
Mind Hunter
Timeless
Travellers
Unforgettable

And Lucifer. I was gutted then relieved and now gutted again.

Not RTFT.

Farscape. And it was so sudden!

Not RTFT.

Farscape. And it was so sudden!

That's understandable, although they then did the mini series called the peacekeeper wars,
CakeIsMyFavouriteAndBest · 17/05/2021 23:14

For the People on Amazon Prime. Starred Rege Jean Page from Bridgerton, found it on amazon, loved it and discovered it stopped after 2 seasons. Gutted.

NiceGerbil · 17/05/2021 23:31

They did and I did think that the two actors who went to Stargate added a dimension of comedy that I enjoyed!

Did you see the one where someone has a dream or something and it's all the farscape characters? Might see if I can find it. At the time I was impressed with them doing that on the show! Given it was usually v serious in the USA style iykwim.

Motorcyclemptiness · 17/05/2021 23:43

White Lines

SinisterBumFacedCat · 17/05/2021 23:44

Benidorm - should have ended with the Garveys returning to buy the hotel.
Survivors
Whitechapel
Cardiac Arrest
Sherlock- could have done another series
Torchwood, they ruined it when they made the forth series in the USA

Not seen the Stargate inspired farscape episode, but the cross over was quite good. Also kinda scary when it makes us wonder what is out there , bit like when Crichton, decided to close the wormhole from the horrors and wonders of the galaxies.

I came on to say FIREFLY too!

Still not over it either

Don't think Nathan Fillion ever got over it either, judging by the number of Firefly references he managed to get into Castle.

And I wanted to know the shepherd's story, too.

Furries · 18/05/2021 00:07

V
Invasion
Colony
Containment
Revenge
Lie To Me

Am sure there are more, but I don’t watch as much tv nowadays and my memory is shot to pieces!

TrashPanda · 18/05/2021 00:09

Hart of Dixie
Looking - love Jonathan Groff and Russell Tovey, they managed to sort of tie it all up with a film length thing but I'd have loved more seasons.
Crashing - a Phoebe Waller Bridge thing, she can definitely write interesting characters
Shadowhunters - there were so many more books to pull stuff from but they added in loads of stuff not in the books. There are still fans trying to get it brought back

ImprobablePuffin · 18/05/2021 00:58

@ChocChipPancake

The Event - it was about 10 years ago and I'm still not over it. It was cancelled and we didn't even find out about 'the event' and it ended of a cliffhanger
AGREE!!
Sparklfairy · 18/05/2021 00:59

Devious Maids
Santa Clarita Diet

TreaterAnita · 18/05/2021 01:02

@BreakfastOfWaffles

Party Animals Cabin Pressure
With you on both of these.

I totally forgot about Containment! I really enjoyed that and it was just getting to the good bit and POOF!
NiceGerbil · 18/05/2021 01:20

Hawkins you might find it somewhere. It was completely bonkers from what I remember!

aloris · 18/05/2021 01:21

Another vote for Relic Hunter
Also:
Firefly
My So-called Life
Life (with Damien Lewis)
Colony

NiceGerbil · 18/05/2021 01:21

Is that old v or new v?

Old v was brilliant!!!

dayswithaY · 18/05/2021 07:57

Mindhunter, they were all ready to make S3 but now all the cast have been told to stand down. Probably COVID related.

Wayward Pines - bring it back but with Matt Dillon.

Scandal - if Greys Anatomy is still going then there's more life left in this, too.

MagicSummer · 18/05/2021 08:31

Oh I've just started watching Colony! Doesn't it have a proper conclusion? Might not bother any more if so!

Clawdy · 18/05/2021 08:34

The Halcyon - all about a London hotel during the second world war. Kara Tointon was in it as the resident singer. Cancelled after one series.

Tiktokersmiracle · 18/05/2021 09:52

@ByeClare

Several that have already been mentioned:

Flash forward (brilliant cast, such a waste they didn’t continue it)

North Square (Rupert Penry Jones looking even hotter than in Suits, such a good cast and premise, why they cancelled...)

Party Animals

Glow

Ones that haven’t been mentioned:

Tripping Over - a U.K. & Australian co-production I loved. Did anyone else watch it?!

Dare Me - a Netflix show from a few years ago

I remember Tripping Over, that was great but yes, axed far too soon
Fyredraca · 18/05/2021 10:10

Marco Polo, was absolutely brilliant big budget production with a great cast. Left on a cliffhanger.
Is Mindhunter not coming back? Sad

sapnupuas · 18/05/2021 10:11

The Class.

Cancelled after one season. And I can't find it anywhere to rewatch.

Gutted.
