Accused of posting on someone's LinkedIn...

I work in a public sector organisation and have been called in by my line manager to say that I have posted something offensive on someone's LinkedIn page and of causing offensive comments on twitter. Confused

I have a LinkedIn account but don't use it much, I do remember following and unfollowing this person a few months ago but no recollection of posting on their page. Is there a way I can check whether I commented without looking at their profile? I know they can see if I have looked at them and I don't want them to make any more allegations about me.

Unbelievable that this is still going on. I remember your early posts, and how the accusation made no sense at all. I had no idea that this was still unresolved. Best of luck.

It's now over a year... I have heard nothing from anyone! Still on AL so SARs will be going in once I get back. I didn't want to tempt fate before a year was up so I've kept quiet.

I now have a solicitor looking at a personal injury claim for the damage to my MH. (I think that's what she said but I'm waiting for a copy of my medical records to send to her and she will clarify what happens next).

all still quite bizarre really, I was expecting something so I'm not hanging in limbo but... nope.

I'm so sorry to hear you've got to the point and I'm 100% behind you as far as pursuing it further and making a claim against them. You seem so much stronger these past few months, I don't know how you've done it but I think you've taken the power back. I lost this thread for a long while so I was shocked to see it was still going and that your boss was lying about his lying!

I've caught up with this thread now and then over the past 12 months. The situation hasn't got any less ridiculous in that time!

I hope at some point you get some semblance of a resolution.

Without going into too much detail, it seems that the case is still "live". Rep is on AL though so will need to wait for them to get back to discuss it.

Apparently the investigation needs to be "thorough, expeditious, and fair". It's clearly failed on at least one aspect. The trouble I'm having is that the policy is being treated as guidelines which means they can essentially make it up as they go along. Bit of a peak in anxiety this week 😒

Oh goodness, how can it still be ongoing. I'm not surprised anxiety is high. Hopefully your rep will be able to do something once back from AL.
