I was at Dd's house recently, she opened her freezer and a I could see was lots of little pink mouse tails.
She has a pet snake so they are for him.
I also once sat eating my lunch in Indonesia whilst watching some guys shoving a cow into the back of a bemo (minibus type thing but with no back doors)

Anyone else?

Er - I only meant to post one of those pics!

dustydaffs · 03/04/2021 14:55

@Cheeseandlobster

For me the wanking walrus was my favourite Grin
It wasn't the favourite of the parents who were being asked what he was doing 🤣

A man walking down Great Portland Street holding a whole, massive salmon. Not wrapped or anything, just tucked under his arm.

A pig running along a country road at 1am in Godalming, Surrey.

ReassuringlyExpensive · 03/04/2021 14:57

A woman of around 80 off her face raving at Space (the now closed club) in Ibiza. She was there every year I went for years.

HandyBendySandy · 03/04/2021 14:57

@SomethingNastyInTheBallPool hahaha! I love "Beaver Management Services".

ReassuringlyExpensive · 03/04/2021 14:59

@Tartyflette

I used to live near Stansted Airport and in the 1980s the Space shuttle Enterprise visited, carried piggy-back style on the top of a jumbo jet. It was doing a world tour. They made several low circuits around the airport and the shuttle was clearly visible for many miles around. It actually went directly over our garden and was a truly marvellous sight to see.
Oh wow! What an amazing sight that must have been. Lucky you
SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 03/04/2021 15:00

@HandyBendySandy Grin I am very mature.

LeaveItToWeaver · 03/04/2021 15:07

A police Landrover on its roof, slowly spinning, just down the hill from our road very late one night. No one else around and no police officers to be seen. DH dropped me home then drove back down (so about 15 mins later) to see if everything was ok and it had gone!

I wish I'd taken a photo because no one believes it happened!

Stichintime · 03/04/2021 15:09

A man filling up his bottle from the Regents canal, then drinking it.

Foobydoo · 03/04/2021 15:18

In Tunisia we went on a safari tour of the country. We saw many strange things including people holding octopuses up at the roadside to sell. One day we travelled behind a car packed full of about 10 people and a little old lady was tied to the roof wrapped in a carpet roll. She looked perfectly happy but it was a strange sight.

Chocolatehabit · 03/04/2021 15:24

Someone having a picnic with a wolf fleece on. And a wolf tail sticking out of his trousers.

Coldwinterahead1 · 03/04/2021 15:36

How does a walrus wank? Asking for a friend.

dubyalass · 03/04/2021 15:43

@toffeebutterpopcorn

Saw a man waiting in a queue (nightclub) wearing chaps... nothing underneath them 😱 It wasn’t a pretty sight...
My downstairs neighbour in London was a fan of chaps (in many ways). He was an accountant by day but on a Friday night he'd don his chaps and a long leather coat and get the bus up the road to one of Vauxhall's clubs. I was quite envious of his antics, he brought a different bloke home every week and seemed to be having a lot of fun.
toffeebutterpopcorn · 03/04/2021 15:46

This was east London. It was a rainy and rather chilly night too. We almost crashed the car!

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 03/04/2021 15:46

An old man on a motobility scooter driving down a dual carriage way with a huge roll of carpet wedged sideways beneath his feet, doing about 10miles an hour taking up 2 lanes.

Not sure if it really classes as weird or just incredibly stupid.

Pleased to finally have an explanation for the horses in London - they used to trot past my flat in Swiss Cottage once a week.

tillytoodles1 · 03/04/2021 16:16

@BringBackDoves

A dead squirrel on a plate on the fridge of a fancy wedding venue

A light-coloured dog with black eyebrows drawn on

Was that in Turkey by any chance. There's a dog that has black drawn-on eyebrows in Calis.
BalloonSlayer · 03/04/2021 16:30

@EggscellentEggplant maybe the pigeon identified as a pelican?

FortunesFavour · 03/04/2021 16:32

Aah Royal Engineers. Thanks SomethingNastyintheBallPool - I also really appreciated the bonus Beaver Management Services 👍.

I’ve got another. Years ago in my misspent youth I was wandering around the healing fields at Glastonbury. I was expecting a melting pot of herbalists, raiki healers, maybe the odd Wiccan. What I was not expecting was a couple in their seventies stark naked and bumbling amongst the mid afternoon crowd. He had a long Gandalf beard covering his bits and a 6 foot staff (stop sniggering). Her modesty was protected too at the front by v long grey hair and bits of ivy wound around. They were both doing a full moon from the back view.
Best bit was they just did not care and with that confidence no one really looked twice. Awesome pair.

picknmix1984 · 03/04/2021 16:36

@ReassuringlyExpensive she was probably only 52 but you thought she was 80 as all young people think anyone aged over 45 is!!

FortunesFavour · 03/04/2021 16:46

One last weird thing then I’ll shut up! This one wasn’t me but my brother.

He went upstairs one Saturday afternoon to put something in his toddler daughter’s bedroom. There he spots a new draft excluder lying by the skirting board. Takes a closer look and in fact it’s a whacking great snake - yellow and white, about 2.5 foot and thick as your arm. Eek! Not really what you expect to find in Leamington Spa!! 🐍

ivelostmymarbles · 03/04/2021 16:49

A car that flipped over standing upside down on roof but upright. The road is 20 mph hour road with millions of traffic lights and it's always stop start traffic on both sides. I drove past it obviously after the accident but still to this day it baffles me how the accident was caused in such slow traffic. Falling from the sky like that is much more believable than being caused on that particular road.

Another one-
I was on holiday in a North African country and we were driving around in a rented car when a ancient pick up truck pulled up with about 10 women dancing at the back with traditional drums and tambourines. That was random.

catinbootsx · 03/04/2021 16:50

I don't why but I am crying actual tyres about the sheep with the tyre on its head.

@GlumyGloomer

The Sultan's Elephant? That was bloody brilliant! My favourite bit was the wooden spaceship in Waterloo Place, where the whole thing started. It was guarded by a policeman (or an actor?), who, when questioned by tourists as to what it was, replied in his best '1950s bobby on the beat' style, "It's crash-landed from the moon, Modom".
