I was at Dd's house recently, she opened her freezer and a I could see was lots of little pink mouse tails.
She has a pet snake so they are for him.
I also once sat eating my lunch in Indonesia whilst watching some guys shoving a cow into the back of a bemo (minibus type thing but with no back doors)

Anyone else?

@ShipshapeShore

Two people dressed as beefeaters strutting down Llandudno pier to a Queen song they had playing. They were also pushing a toy monkey in a pushchair.
I've seen a man pushing a toy monkey in a pushchair down Llandudno pier. On that occasion it was a heatwave and he was wearing a Russian style fur hat and a long military coat. He stopped to 'tell off' the monkey for putting the radio on too loudly. It made my kids' day!

Many years ago I went to bed with a man who turned out to have three nipples, all of them perfectly formed.

CallMeCleo · 03/04/2021 17:33

Recently, in the checkout queue in a supermarket, I saw a man dressed from head to toe as Henry VIII, placing his shopping on to the conveyor belt.

A monkey riding pillion on a motorbike in Thailand

A woman sat at a pub garden bench but had pulled her tights down and just went to the loo like she was sat on a toilet Confused

100s of naked cyclists in the city centre

GlumyGloomer · 03/04/2021 17:54

@Foofbrush I think that was it yes, although I only saw the ending but it was certainly memorable. I actually only got invited by my friends to go watch it that morning, and I had no clue what it was about really.

Sitting outside a pub near Aldwych a good 20 years ago. Hundreds of people walked past in the road wearing nothing except their shoes. We had no idea why.

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 03/04/2021 18:02

I looked out of my town centre office window to see an elephant walking past - and the rest of the circus. They were walking from the train station to the field where the circus would be held.

We had a neighbour who would take his enormous snake or lizard out and about. He would sit on a wall by the car park and chat to people who walked past, happy to answer questions about his pets.

Also a lady with a fancy dolls pram with a baby rabbit going round the charity shops.

I have a couple
We were in the Apple shop at Florida Mall while on holiday and saw a guy, dressed entirely in orange inc cap, trainers, bumbag etc, sat in a wheelchair, with a small monkey, also dressed head to toe in orange and wearing a tiny nappy, was sitting on his head!!

And on the subject of cats bringing strange gifts, one of ours once bought me a beetroot! It appeared to have been be freshly dug up!?

Going into the local chemist in Spain and seeing various snakes in jars at the back of the counter. Apparently, if you were bitten you went to the chemist, pointed to the snake that had bitten you and got the antidote.

FrankiesKnuckle · 03/04/2021 18:40

@AlfonsoTheTerrible ah him, used to catwalk streatham high road too, he's caused a few dented bumpers in his time 😂

BlowDryRat · 03/04/2021 18:55

I woke up to find a magpie flying around my (very small) bedroom. It took me ages to shop it out and it pooed all over my things.

A woman in a dressing gown driving a van down the road while simultaneously scraping ice off her windscreen.

LoveFall · 03/04/2021 19:23

A small car going across a bridge in front of me during a snowstorm. With its four way flashers on, about a foot of snow covering the back window and a tiny little square area cleared in front of the driver, not the whole windshield. I couldn't believe it.

IHaveBrilloHair · 03/04/2021 19:50

One of my cats once brought me a dead hamster,
Another came back with half a loaf of v fresh looking breadConfused
I kept an eye on the local groups each time!

@CallMeCleo
I'm intrigued, what was Henry VIII buying?

We had a beautiful big black cat named Thomas. We lived off the Main Street near a takeaway and he always brought random leftovers home. Half a baked potato wrapped in foil and one time a whole red onion 😂

He also went through a stage of bringing home baby socks every day. We never found out who they belonged to!

A man taking his pet goldfish for a walk by pushing the fish bowl in a pram

FelicityBeedle · 03/04/2021 20:13

I think I caused a man to have a (rubbish) one of these moments once.
Travelling back from uni with a very rage Tupperware container I kept on the train table in front of me. Suddenly the contents moves and a head pops up out of a small hole.
The man startles, and explains he thought it was a large box of porridge.
It was actually my hamster in sawdust, in a Tupperware as a cheap and spacious travel cage

Everythingmagnolia · 03/04/2021 20:16

An elderly gent riding one of those bikes with a basket on the front. In the basket was a fully grown labrador!

TheVolturi · 03/04/2021 20:22

In India, two adults, two children, a baby and a dog on a tiny motorscooter. Not an uncommon sight though!

VaggieMight · 03/04/2021 20:25

A little dog doing a walking handstand (pawstand) while peeing. I checked YouTube and it's a thing.

TheVolturi · 03/04/2021 20:29

Vaggie I had a jack Russell that used to crap like that! Drove us mad trying to work out how he managed to crap in the plant pots till we saw him doing it, he'd do it on a walk on walls as well 🤦🏻‍♀️

ChiefBabySniffer · 03/04/2021 20:31

I saw a woman a few weeks ago riding one of those light up hover board things, pushing a pram and simultaneously pulling a two wheel shopping trolley behind her. I was that amazed that I had to pull over and watch .

I used to have a pet raccoon and he had a harness that he wore to go on walks. People often looked amazed and would stop us for photos and ask what sort of dog it was 😂

ChiefBabySniffer · 03/04/2021 20:33

@FruityPolos

Where about do you live? That could have been me (although I know several people that kept them as pets before they became DWA)

dustydaffs · 03/04/2021 20:45

@Coldwinterahead1

How does a walrus wank? Asking for a friend.
Enthusiastic use of flippers 😂
BatleyTownswomensGuild · 03/04/2021 20:46

The largest lorry I've ever seen in my life, driving through Acton with a Tube train carriage on the back. Surreal to see a train on the back of a lorry....

And (weird in a good way) phosphorescent algae glowing in the sea at night. It was like ripples of blue neon under the water.
