I was at Dd's house recently, she opened her freezer and a I could see was lots of little pink mouse tails.
She has a pet snake so they are for him.
I also once sat eating my lunch in Indonesia whilst watching some guys shoving a cow into the back of a bemo (minibus type thing but with no back doors)

A man catching a seagull with his fishing rod of Brighton Pier. He had to wind it in like a fish. He unhooked it and it flew off.

A normal duck eating a medium sized, living trout. It just grabbed it out the stream and swallowed it whole.

Pre covid, a man near me used to walk his giant tortoise to the pub. Saw him few times.. in the same town, you often see a woman walking her cat.

Oh I thought of another, there used to be a guy who took an eagle for a walk on his arm, I thought it was so odd, my dog went ballistic every time we saw him.

Turns out the eagle works at the airport scaring the birds away but it like to go to the local park sometimes so they had to retrieve it.

Saw a man waiting in a queue (nightclub) wearing chaps... nothing underneath them 😱 It wasn’t a pretty sight...

I was on the DLR with a friend after a slightly tipsy lunch about 15 years ago and I saw Orlando Bloom, that Brazilian football player with the buck teeth and someone else famous who I've now forgotten. They were in the same part of the carriage but not exactly together. I was trying to stare without staring but Orlando saw me and smiled back at me. Either two glasses of wine had made me hallucinate or they were all working for a look-alike agency. They all got off at Canary Wharf and I asked my friend if she'd noticed too but she hadn't even looked at them.

Im sure ive seen stranger but the one that springs to mind was my cat and a crow fighting in my garden over a rabbit, it was so bizarre.

At around 5.30am one summer morning I heard a jaunty toot toot and looked at my window to see dozens of horses trotting down my West London street with soldiers (household cavalry?) at either end escorting them. They were having their early morning exercise around the streets before everyone woke up. Thought I was dreaming! Wonderful sight.

At around 5.30am one summer morning I heard a jaunty toot toot and looked at my window to see dozens of horses trotting down my West London street with soldiers (household cavalry?) at either end escorting them. They were having their early morning exercise around the streets before everyone woke up. Thought I was dreaming! Wonderful sight.

They used to regularly trot outside our flat - it looked like they were train them as there was always a couple of skittish ones. I haven’t seen them for a while as I’m not leaving for work in the mornings (just the poo!).

You lucky thing toffee (although not so much regarding the poo!). I only ever saw them once and it felt v surreal.

In the French Quarter in New Orleans, a very tall, must have been 6'5" (without heels) bloke dressed in very high shoes and a negligee with a long, down past his kness, scarf. As he draw closer I realised the scarf was actually a massive snake.
Probably a boa 😂

As a dc I went by coach to visit my friend's dgm with her. Every trip a blind man was assisted onto the bus with his cane and dark glasses on. He always sat at the back.
Where he took off his specs and read a book the whole journey!

The three that come to mind...

• a steam locomotive on the A1 (on the back of a truck)
• a cat using a zebra crossing. The cars stopped for it.
• a light aircraft at the petrol station.

Driving home from a party one night with DH when a kangaroo hopped out into the road. We stopped the car and it just sat there looking at us. We live in Kent so not an everyday event. Funniest thing was phoning the police "well Officer, we were just driving home from a party and there is this kangaroo in the road" 😂😂

Once eating lunch in Thailand. Suddenly, it started raining, mist swept down from the hills behind us and hundreds of frogs (or toads) hopped into the restaurant through the open doors.

A masturbating tortoise - it was our family tortoise and he used to do it regularly after his lady companion died. His erect penis would come out of his tail and he'd rub it on the grass until he ejaculated.

He is still alive and must be about 50 years old now - I don't know if he still masturbates, though.

Place was full, at lunch time, and suddenly everyone cheered and some stood up and clapped. Then they all sat and resumed eating.

The reason - big rats running across the floor.

We just sat there watching, and also continued eating.
