Someone mentioned Wish you Were here, and I guess it would be a good breakup song, it was more a missing someone song (in this case, Syd Barrett after he died) Still a stunning song

Not sure what my breakup song would be, apart from the Romeo & Juliette one. Actually, just talking through with my dd and it's actually Fleetwood Mac Rumours, the whole album which I listened to on tape on repeat after my utter bastard of an ex broke up with me. This was the first time I'd heard this whole lp. Still o e of my top lps.

I was in the kitchen at work once and

I got really choked up and had to walk out.
I think it was "I know it ain't pretty when two hearts get broke"

I was totally over it as far as I was aware and getting on with life.
I don't know why but that song just hit me really hard. It was really unexpected.
It's making me cry now and I don't know why it has such an effect on me. It's embarrassing 🤣

I think It must have been Love by Roxette is a heartbreaker.
And
Someone you Love by Lewis Capaldi.
And all of the songs everyone has already mentioned.
