Agree with loads above too and was pleasantly surprised to see Westlife mentioned a few times. I find Bop Bop Baby very emotional even though it's an upbeat and seemingly feel-good song.

I hadn’t remembered it that way, I thought of it as an ‘are we breaking up or not’ sort of song. It was 40 years ago

Possibility by Lykke Li is the most heartbreaking song ever, when you think you will never love again. If you watch the live video you can see the pain in the singer's face.

Lullaby by Kate Rusby-- not written for her friend who died but completely encapsulates the heartbreak of losing someone you love.

Skinny Love by Birdy-- captures that mood of despartion when you know it's going to end and you are clinging on.
