Ok, not really an AIBU, but I love these threads and they always get loads of traffic in AIBU!

I am in need of much inspiration and these threads are great for it.

@tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz

Trying a new one from that Delish website ...

Tray bake veggies (shallot, cherry toms and chopped peppers) with a slab of feta in the middle drizzled with oil and dried herbs. Then when done mix up a bit and throw cooked penne in.

Sounds yum. And v easy

This is the one that has gone 'viral' on TikTok. All the cool kids are making it.
CannotOperateOnThisFailure · 01/03/2021 11:26

simply-delicious-food.com/easy-baked-feta-pasta-with-bacon-and-mushrooms/ another version of the Tiktok one.

And meatballs for people who don't like to try anything new.

kleew1 · 01/03/2021 11:31

It's my oh turn to cook as I'm working.

We are having chicken pho. Only because our delivery didn't have the usual noodle kit.

So soup for dinner and ultimately soup for dinner. Ugh. Best get it out the way Grin

Jurassiclover · 01/03/2021 11:34

Pretty boring but we're going to have a tuna pasta bake

Jurassiclover · 01/03/2021 11:35

@youngestisapsycho oooh do you have a recipe for that? I've gone off mince at the min so chili with chunks of beef sounds amazing

AlwaysLatte · 01/03/2021 11:36

I've got tandoori chicken marinading, and going to make a dal in the instant pot to go with it. DS10 has a salad making homework to do so we'll have that with it.

Thai green curry. Chicken thigh/Quorn for the veggie, lots of veg, rice noodles.

Icantrememebrtheartist · 01/03/2021 11:46

Love these threads! 😊. I am so bored of rotating the same meals but lack inspiration and I’m pretty rubbish at cooking.

Tonight we’re having jacket potato with cheese and beans for my children (3 under 5) and probably ready made coronation chicken and a salad for us.

AudTheDeepAndCrispAndEven · 01/03/2021 11:48

Nigella's chicken thigh tray bake on peas thingy, with either rice or JPs. DC will moan, but I am trying to expand their repertoire (too much bleeding pasta atm). I'm veggie so am having Quorn pesto and mozzarella escalopes with peas and JP.

PopsicleHustler · 01/03/2021 11:49

Grilled chicken, potato wedges ,coleslaw salad. And a tube of Cadbury mini eggs to wash it down with .

EnglishRose1320 · 01/03/2021 11:54

Cottage pie made with quorn mince and a mixed veg mash to top it. Ds will crumble but he will eat it. I shop on a Tuesday so todays meal is normally a bit random.
Haven't planned my meals for the rest of the week yet so this thread is great for inspiration

confusedofengland · 01/03/2021 11:54

Quick dinner of chicken goujons/escalopes as DH working late & I have Book Club tonight. Tomorrow will do paella to use up the scraps from yesterday's roast chicken.

EnglishRose1320 · 01/03/2021 11:55

*grumble, although he does love a crumble so maybe I should make one, he might grumble less then.

JamesMiddletonsMarshmallows · 01/03/2021 11:56

Thai green curry 😋

Emmy93 · 01/03/2021 12:00

Turkey twizzlers and chips 😂 today is a I cbb to cook day because i have so much to do after homeschooling but having shepards pie tomorrow 🤤

Mrstumbletap · 01/03/2021 12:03

A roast!

A bit weird on a Monday, but we decided during dinner last night that we fancied it today.

Easy though as it's all frozen veg, frozen yorkshires, frozen chicken crown, and take very little work. All I have to do is the gravy.

ParisJeTAime · 01/03/2021 12:07

How is it, that there are 70ish posts on here already, I don't think we've had many (or any?) overlaps? So 60+ different means. And I seem the make the same 4 meals over and over again 🤦‍♀️😁?

This is why these threads are great though. I'm already feeling a bit more inspired!

Chilli verde with guacamole and rice (cauliflower rice for me as I low carb).

Calibrachoa · 01/03/2021 12:12

Roast chicken, roast potatoes and greens

sheslittlebutfierce · 01/03/2021 12:14

leftover stew from yesterday!

Chimeraforce · 01/03/2021 12:15

Leftover shredded chicken and bacon from the freezer.
Either with rice, peas, onion pepper, chopped Omlette soy sauce etc
Or with noodles and a pouch sauce, either satay or chow mein

OnceUponAThread · 01/03/2021 12:15

Red Thai chicken curry I think. Various bits need using up and I think that will sort all of it.

idontlikealdi · 01/03/2021 12:16

chicken pot pie
