What don't you own ?

So what don't you have at home that others would find essential ?
I don't have a dishwasher or a tumble dryer. We also only have 1 tv in the family room.

you can tell by my name what i dont own

Tumble dryer
More than one bathroom / loo
No upstairs bathroom.
No sore room / home office

Tumble dryer or microwave

A second loo.

Sometimes have a relative to visit, and said relative goes on their phone for aaaaaagggessss in the loo.

A bad habit.
Pre mobs, they used to read in the loo.

Netflix, Sky, or any other pay-to-view services. We don't have time to watch all the stuff that's available free of charge, so what would be the point of paying for more stuff that we won't have time to watch?

WiFi. ( no one under 64 lives here so we are happy with our iPads on monthly contract and freebies tv)

Thermostat for heating ( we just switch on/ off when necessary
Cordless vacuum but that is my next purchase ( unless it needs WiFi to work!!!)

Don't even understand what an Alexa or Siri actually do? confused There was a thread on here some time ago explaining what Alexa did but apart from playing music or 'writing' a shopping list I still don't understand .....

DP bought our Google home and we literally use it to play the radio or occasionally set a timer.

I feel the same about IPads. Again DP got one and I've never used it, I don't know what it's for that I can't do on my phone.

Too many clothes or shoes bags or make up. As a woman I'm meant to have cupboards full , but I don't. I do not own any perfume at all apart from deodorant. Gives me headaches.
Any Jewellery , (apart from two watches and a cheap wedding ring. )
A kitchen aid gadget.
A dog or any pets. All my friends have dogs , (more than one some of them! )

A microwave.

Sky. People pay hundreds a year for these channels , but moan about the bbc license fees.
I do own an Alexa : love her as she plays me music and the radio and news updates bless her!

An Alexa, or similar device. We have no intention of getting one, and if someone bought one for us it wouldn’t be switched on.

The Google Assistant is an expensive toy in my case. It was enabled in the speakers I bought. I use it to play music, catch up with the news, set alarms, and it is set up to turn on and off the lights in all rooms when asked to. I did have to get smart bulbs for that. But I like it.
