So what don't you have at home that others would find essential ?
I don't have a dishwasher or a tumble dryer. We also only have 1 tv in the family room.

I haven't got a hot tub either. Letting my family down obs ! 😀 ( or a pool or a sauna)
Actually we don't have much.
How can I carry on now? lol

dancingthroughthedark · 15/02/2021 17:25

A car and lockdown has made me realise even more how difficult life is without one when there's no shopping slots and little public transport and I can no longer rely on family members to take me anywhere which they would usually happily do .

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 15/02/2021 17:26

An iPad or iPhone. (We have notebook, Amazon fires and Nokia phones)
A working games console

WonkyCactus · 15/02/2021 17:26

No microwave, freezer or dishwasher.
Only have Freeview channels, I don't pay for any channels or streaming services.

The only thing I really want is a freezer.

emmathedilemma · 15/02/2021 17:28

lastqueenofscotland · 15/02/2021 17:30

I don’t have a dishwasher.
Don’t have a hair dryer which shocks people - I need to let my hair dry naturally or I look like Helena bonham Carter in the Harry Potter films it’s not good.
A pair of high heels. I just hate them.

SittinOnTheDockOfTheBay · 15/02/2021 17:31

Is Alexa or dot or whatever common enough for it to be standard? Jesus I'm out of touch then!

Ours was £17 on Black Friday. Glad we didn't pay any more for it, as it only does what Siri does.

I haven't got a robo vac but I really want one.

Bargebill19 · 15/02/2021 17:32

A bath, dishwasher or freezer. A bricks and mortar abode.

emmathedilemma · 15/02/2021 17:32

A coffee pod machine e.g. Nespresso

Peanutbuttercupisyum · 15/02/2021 17:32

I’m very surprised at people with no dishwasher. When ours broke, washing up kind of became my life! I mean every single meal tome there was this whole rigmarole to go through. I lost weight though as did not have any snacks at all and tried to make do with 2 meals a day!

And with 3 children I couldn’t be without a tumble dryer, I do 3 loads a day - my house would be damp with drying laundry.

Laila747 · 15/02/2021 17:33

No microwave. Had one for 4 years and used it twice....
They take up too much space and I really don’t miss it one bit.

YewandOak · 15/02/2021 17:34

Our house is mid terrace and we have no access to the back garden without going through our living room.

Love everything else about it!

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 15/02/2021 17:37

No dog
No cat
Got ants in the garden but they look after themselves.

GameSetMatch · 15/02/2021 17:37

How do people without microwaves warm their plates?

Kpo58 · 15/02/2021 17:37

More than 1 bathroom
An ensuite
A second reception room
A downstairs toilet
A shower separate to the one in the bath
A dishwasher
A tumble dryer
Off street parking
Only the master bedroom can fit a double bed in it

Atalune · 15/02/2021 17:40

A proper airing cupboard. I had one in my very old house but we live in a old/new converting thing now and now we don’t have one. Sad face

We do have a hot tub so at least I’m not a total failure. Grin

SimonJT · 15/02/2021 17:40

A garden
A pod based coffee machine
A back door
Double glazing
