Getting pregnant after vasectomy doesn't really happen to people, right?

Snip was years ago. Like 8 years.

Am a week late. Cramps and sore boobs for 7 days now but no bloody AF.
Am starting to get concerned Hmm but it's just one of those stories from friends of friends isn't it??

I read about a women getting pregnant ten years after her husband had the snip. He divorced her for cheating. Baby was his..

I'm hoping it is rarer than rare. Dh and the snip 14 years ago. I'm four months late Hmm.

ChristmasFluff · 22/01/2021 21:53

Oh for goodness sake. This could have been all done and dusted one way or another by going to the local chemist and buying a test.

Surely anyone who was really worried would have done that?

ChristmasFluff · 22/01/2021 21:54

Waiting for the drip feed of where OP is......

AngelDelightUK · 22/01/2021 22:03

How did he take the news when you asked him to get one?!

EmilyInParis · 22/01/2021 22:05

If you really thought you could be you would've done it by now.

Fact.

LMNOPEE · 22/01/2021 22:08

We are in the middle of a pandemic. I'm homeschooling 4 kids. I don't live near any shops apart from the one supermarket which I went to today and they were out.

What rubbish, people have actual real life lives and perhaps I don't really want to take one because I'm scared. So I was just waiting along as I can and hoping my period starts.

Can’t believe you haven’t tested yet😂 I’d want to know ASAP.

Tinacollada · 22/01/2021 22:10

Wow, what a loAd of attention for not even finding out Confused

LMNOPEE · 22/01/2021 22:12

I went to get one and they didnt have any! What do you want me to do? Hold them hostage whilst they get on the phone to head office and get one helicoptered over?!

Amazon next day delivery Hmm

Theunamedcat · 22/01/2021 22:16

@whereismormonjesus

Amazon next day delivery Hmm
My thoughts exactly but im a really impatient person 🤣
LMNOPEE · 22/01/2021 22:17

... If you have prime. Which I do not. And I don't like to buy from Amazon. I try and use local shops, especially now. So I will go to the chemist.

Hope it turns out ok. I have heard of a few times where this has happened. Could he ask the doctors to have another test to reassure you that it is still reversed?

ReefTeeth · 22/01/2021 22:23

OP ignore those rude comments.

You were just asking a question, if pp aren't interested, then move the fuck along, no need to put your shitty 2 pence in.

I hope your period comes soon 🤞

showmethereceipts · 22/01/2021 22:32

Interesting. Im eager to know what happens!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 22/01/2021 22:38

Fingers crossed for the right result, when you do get a test, @LMNOPEE.

isadorapolly · 22/01/2021 22:42

Hope you get the result you want OP x

Thesearmsofmine · 22/01/2021 22:47

I hope you get the result you want OP.

These stories fill me with fear!

fireme · 22/01/2021 22:53

It's definitely possible but not likely. The stress of not knowing is probably delaying your period more. Hope you get a test and get the result you want!

StarsonaString · 22/01/2021 23:05

Urgh nightmare. If you are pg and it isn't right for you, a lot of GPs are doing telephone appointments then you can get the termination pills in the post if that is right for you and its early.

gumball37 · 22/01/2021 23:36

Oh geez. Yeah it's not a friend of a friend thing. My 2nd is almost 10 yrs younger than my first... But she wasn't an accident, so I was ready for it. Best of luck to you

radioband · 23/01/2021 08:22

As if the OP is getting grief, it’s her life no one else’s.

midnightstar66 · 23/01/2021 09:10

👀 unashamedly place marking. The most likely outcome is a rogue period. I had the odd one from my mid 30's onwards after having been regular all my life
