How far from your birthplace do you now live?

Chatting at work today and it came to light that of the 5 of us, 3 still live in the same town as they were born in.

I moved a lot as a child and (having used a distance calculator) have worked out I live 445miles from where I was born.

I live about 700 miles from where I was born, now live only 3 miles from where I grew up. I moved 1600 miles away as soon as I became an adult. Many years later I found myself marrying a man who grew up just a mile from me, but we had never met. We lived in various places over time, but eventually decided to move “home”

0 miles. I live in the house I was born in. I worked all over the world and had no roots anywhere. When my parents died I bought out my siblings and when I left off from my travels I came back. I literally sleep in the room I was born in.
