Not sure if this is right but I heard that if Trump steps down, then Pence will become President and in return he can pardon Trump so that he cant be prosecuted for things like tax evasion etc. I reckon he might do this.

Also you can't be preemptively pardoned for crimes you haven't been charged with yet!

Are you joking? Apart from the implications it may have on the UK it has been fascinating to watch. I have never seen a president act like an over grown toddler having a tantrum like this before.
