I've met Helen McCrory through my job. Let's just say it's an experience I don't want to repeat! She's a fabulous actress though.

No I’m not being disingenuous. I know they have access to a castle (a money pit) but I don’t understand why they’d live in a house right on the road. For security as well as privacy reasons.

No I’m not being disingenuous. I know they have access to a castle (a money pit) but I don’t understand why they’d live in a house right on the road. For security as well as privacy reasons.

It's not like they've got their backsides pressed up against the M1. They're in a tiny, bijoux Sussex village that, according to a poster upthread, has "just a single track very narrow lane running through", so presumably all houses in this village are on or very close to the lane.

I like in a tiny village, down a single track lane- I still have a wall or hedging surrounding my house- for privacy and security reasons. As a Hollywood actor, I’d presume he’d have similar.

The house is clearly of historical interest so who would anyone want to tamper with it? It’s lovely.

I live in a listed house which is also “right on the road.” It’s on a hill and traffic can only be one way. It’s the way it has been for centuries.

The village they live in is tiny and pretty much every house is delightful! He isn't exactly so famous that he is going to have the press there very often.

His kids go to a nice school but it isn't eton!

It's hilarious. The DM is clearly desperate to keep spinning this story out, but given that LJ is laying low and DW & spouse have decamped to their castle and pulled up the drawbridge, the best they can manage is squirrels Grin Grin Grin
