Whilst I feel sorry for the wife, in the latest pictures outside their house she is kind of lunging at him to kiss him, he’s standing back with his hands in his pockets. Just ditch him. I imagine Catherine just desperately wanted to get rid of the paps and this was the easiest & quickest way to do it before the kids get home from school. Give them a few awkward photos and a statement and get them off the doorstep.

It was partly about pay I think but also there were issues over the sex scenes eg being reassured it would be a closed set and finding that there was every man and his dog present: also nudity pressure. She felt betrayed by the female producer/director IIRC. Not sure how far it went in terms of grievance or compensation

I think there are more fans of the Affair than we know and he's basically played himself throughout the whole series. I loved the show by the way! People are fed up of Covid and this is quite juicy and with his recent comments about Trump too....

I'm guessing that he guilted / bullied her into doing the photo op. Came home initially contrite and then when he got bored of apologising turned it around on her and put it on her "to keep the family together" etc.

Were there really a shedload of 'paps' camped out on their doorstep? I had no idea Dominic West was such a megastar!

And surely, by making statements and posing for 'happy couple' photos like this, they are basically saying that their marriage is a legitimate subject for media interest? Surely that would be more likely to encourage the 'paps' ? He's only a TV actor, not a politician or public servant. I don't think I've ever seen an actor behave in such a way when accused of infidelity. It's all very strange.
