Good to see I am not the only one who does not believe it just because it's in a newspaper. Anything situational photo can be sensationalised if taken at the wrong angle!

Can the wife divorce him though? Problem is she may have more to lose - she has some ancestral castle to keep in the family, he has cash but a divorce may hurt her more. Feel for her, what a shit of a partner and crap for their kids
This. She likely has the intimate knowledge of him which informs her how nasty a divorce would be if initiated by her.

She'll be hoping he wants out quickly at some point and is therefore less venal about the divorce (a la Boris).

The devious and self absorbed ones can be horrendous to divorce.

I am not sure I take these photos at face value. Lily doesn't exactly look besotted or like she is hiding anything. They just look like they are being overly flirty over dinner. Aren't others with them?

Having said that I could believe that he is 'boho' (a cheat). If it isn't true then he is daft/tactless not to realise that the paps constantly follow Lily, if not him, as they are obsessed with her love life. His wife must be furious to have been back home holding the fort and suddenly have this media onslaught.

Lots of actors have boho marriages I can think of one Former Doctor Who and Euan McGregor Who were notorious for it in their boho circles. Trouble is, the wife is never quite on board with it is she? It’s all down to what he wants

Definitely. Thought that as soon as I saw the manager was at lunch with them and photos so staged. Humiliating for his wife though.

It’s so strange. The photos in Rome are clearly a publicity stunt, but what publicity is needed? They’re filming a drama being made for the BBC, not the next Bond franchise.

I've always found him greasy and couldn't understand how the affair woman could choose him over her waaaaaaaay cuter husband but - now he is beyond horrible. He's so smug, too!

What I don't get is why they would flaunt it so blatantly. Why? Is there more to this story? Has his wife been unfaithful first??

Whilst I feel sorry for the wife, in the latest pictures outside their house she is kind of lunging at him to kiss him, he’s standing back with his hands in his pockets. Just ditch him. Arrogant twat. Apparently he’s not wearing his wedding ring. It’s like she’s told him to stand outside the house and play happy families.

I thought so too... Loved his Welsh accent... Gone right off him now! Just as an aside Ruth Wilson is a delight.. Ds2 worked with her in March as an extra and is looking forward to seeing himself on TV...
