Any ideas what this could be?

I'm 29, have been on the desogestrel pill for over a year now (no periods at all) and am sexually active with my partner.

Last night, I was really really sick. I vomited everywhere and started to feel quite hot and cold. Woke up at about 5am drenched in sweat. Went back to sleep and woke up again at 9 and I was completely covered in blood.
Thinking it was just a period, I put a tampon in and forgot about it.

I soaked through the tampon (heaviest flow) in 20 minutes.

Went to the toilet to change it and passed two massive (size of a golf ball) clots, then suddenly got extreme pains in my stomach - radiating up my back to my shoulder. I'm honestly in the worst pain ever.

My heart is going really fast, I feel freezing but my body feels hot, I can't stop shaking.
I'm frightened, I don't know what's going on with me.

Tried to go the walk in centre, but you need an appointment and they've got none today.

My dad is here at the minute and he doesn't do fuss (especially when it comes to illness). My partner told my dad to take me to the hospital (as he's working) but my dad isn't having it and I don't feel well enough to drive myself.

Has anyone got any ideas about what this could be and whether I need the hospital or not? I don't know what to do.
Thank you

(I apologise if this doesn't make sense, I'm in a lot of pain.)

And sometimes it takes your mind off what’s happening to you and helps you to keep it together!
Hope you are ok OP and hope nothing serious. Dangerous of your dad to leave you when you are losing so much blood.

Suzi888 · 10/10/2020 18:51

Oh op sorry you're so sick. Your dad is a huge twat. I hope you feel better soon

FlitterMouse · 10/10/2020 19:05

I hope you feel better soon and you get the help you need. When you're back home your dad needs to be told how unwell you are. Perhaps the staff might speak to him if he calls. Flowers

Hmm my H would be useless like this. Sorry the men in your life didn't look after you but hope you feel better soon.

waitforitwaitforit · 10/10/2020 19:15

To play devils advocate, maybe your dad is worried, so deflecting?

Hope you feel better (and are better) soon, OP. Thanks

Clarke45 · 10/10/2020 19:17

I think this could possibly be an eptopic pregnancy. I had one last March and sounds the same specially the pain up your back to your shoulder tip. Please go get checked out at the hospital as I was told if it erupts it can be live threading. Don’t mean to scare you but please be seen.

Threatening

SchrodingersUnicorn · 10/10/2020 19:18

Hope you feel better soon OP. I was also told progestogen(?) only pills put you at higher risk of ectopics. Glad you're safe at hospital Flowers

Thinking of you op, let us know how you are when you can. I thought ectopic pg too.
It sounds like your dad just can't cope with the emotional heaviness of this and to be fair to him he is probably feeling worried and guilty - just playing devils advocate. Not saying he should have acted like that, he needs to take a good look at himself.

Justnotfeelingit · 10/10/2020 22:40

Any news OP?

Ugzbugz · 10/10/2020 22:41
