Today, I cleaned the fridge

yes I really did !

I pulled it out and cleaned behind, and it was bad.. my bad.

I emptied it and bleached everything including the food, and have just put everything in it and pushed it back and arranged all the fridge magnets and children's drawings and I feel amazing.

I sent a small video to my bloke hard at work.... which he appreciated no end. I do believe he is showing our fridge to his colleagues right now (NOT)

Tomorrow I will clean out one kitchen cupboard because I am fab. I am Woman and I can do this.

Anybody else do anything truly wonderful and worthy of note today ?

I got a stepladder out and dusted on top of the 3 double wardrobes, and antibac wiped the top of 3 bathroom cabinets, they were grim, even though I try and do it every few months.

I cleaned out 3 thin drawers and 2 deep ones (in the kitchen) I showed the children when they came back from school and they were not interested at all! Rude

I cleared a load of stuff from the utility room to the garage, to make room for the big chest freezer that's coming tomorrow Grin And I cleared a load of stuff off the patio as well. And started prepping the onion and garlic beds for planting.

Tomorrow DH is picking up the rest of the supplies I need to make my coldframes, so I can finish those and start planting my winter salads.

Also yesterday I bought new bulbs for the car and fitted them, new key fob batteries and a yard brush.

My twins have started school and I work 4 days (2 from home at the mo) and I'm like wtf am I supposed to do on a whole day off!!!

I cleaned out the under sink cupboard.... why do I have 4 bottles of flash with bleach?

Today I did the tin and pasta cupboard...

I changed the ridiculous spotlight bulbs in our kitchen all 5 of them and two don't work possible the transformer in there.

Bottomed out all the washing washed and ironed all the clothes

And got the children craft packs organised and hidden for Christmas

I am woman today !

The kitchen "drawer of doom" was tipped into a rubbish bag without filtering anything out of it. So bloody satisfying. That was a week ago and I miss NOTHING that was there. But no doubt it will fill up again.

Three more cupboards to go. Why oh why do we accumulate so much stuff!

Anyway it is very satisfying anyway. Much more to do!

I have a pine dresser in my dining room, It's lovely. It has lots of little drawers and they are all full of shit (no not literally you pedants:) which I would love to empty into a bin liner and throw out, but I am scared of empty drawers :(

Yesterday, I made a dental appointment for my routine checkup. February 2021! Yay! (Thought I might as well go on the list..)

Today, I cleaned surfaces as my DC's bubble has burst at school. I have apportioned the rooms up in the house. Sulking slightly as DH are relegated to the en-suite and poxy shower. I'm missing the bath already! Sad And I put a load of washing on hot wash.

Not today, but last weekend.

I finally decided on a colour and planets the bathroom.

DH has been home with no work since March and I’ve been asking him to paint the house. I’m sick of waiting so I decided to make a start by myself. My cutting in skill leave a bit to be desired but I’m still very proud of myself.

This weeeknd will be the shower room’s turn - much smaller so very do-able 😀

I pulled everything out of a large cupboard (floor to ceiling) and wiped the shelves and sorted things by food type. Discovered that I may never need to buy caster sugar again (about 7kg caster, 4kg granulated. Also have all the odds-and-sods sugars like light and dark muscovado, soft browns light and dark, fructose etc. Maybe I should start baking).

Ran out of time to go through the herbs/spices but will try tomorrow.
