Today, I cleaned the fridge

yes I really did !

I pulled it out and cleaned behind, and it was bad.. my bad.

I emptied it and bleached everything including the food, and have just put everything in it and pushed it back and arranged all the fridge magnets and children's drawings and I feel amazing.

I sent a small video to my bloke hard at work.... which he appreciated no end. I do believe he is showing our fridge to his colleagues right now (NOT)

Tomorrow I will clean out one kitchen cupboard because I am fab. I am Woman and I can do this.

Anybody else do anything truly wonderful and worthy of note today ?

🌟 for you then. I only found out about them about 20 years after leaving home. It’s in the manual but who on earth reads fridge manual?.

We'll probably all be bleaching our food after Brexit.

I have packed up all my summer clothes and put them in the loft. I hate doing it as it means summer is over so lets hope we don’t now have a heatwave!

I knew about it because last time I did this job it had leaked everywhere and I thought it was the dog who kept weeing in front of the fridge..

Never mind who reads them - who even keeps them to read ? I had to go online to find out about the drip tray !

Today I thought seriously about tidying the shed. Does that count?

OP I was you last week, except I pulled out the tumble dryer too (I even used my "magic sponge" on the walls behind said fridge and tumble dryer) . Well done. This week I haven't been as productive. I've got to tackle the kids toys and I keep putting it off.

I just sorted put the heap of cardboard recycling for bin day tomorrow. All neatly stacked up and secure. I feel really smug that I remembered (and bothered) to do this now instead of just before going to bed!

I started the Christmas cake, this year I'm making Delia's Creole Christmas cake. It's a tad boozy I also found loads of booze I didn't know we had

I dared to go into my ds room today. He left for uni on Sunday. I retrieved a lot of glasses and mugs

I cleared out 2 kitchen cupboard. We moved from a tiny mouse house to something more fitting for humans and so have afew cupboards that we just throw things in. It was most most pleasing.

Behold the before.....

I sorted my airing cupboard. Arranged it into towel sizes, duvet cover sizes, pillowcases etc. Bagged up a load of old towels to give to vet or dog charity, bagged up old curtains etc to go to the tip. I'm so proud of how it looks I called DH to come and see, he was impressed, I think.

Then I started my christmas shopping.

Today I washed my car and it passed it's MOT.

I've been sorting my house out after staying away for eighteen months with my mum because of my mental health. It was in a real state, I collect junk when my mental health is bad, and I'd stopped housework, so it was like one of those horrible hoarder houses.

Every time I tried to sort it before, I'd have panic attacks after a little bit because it was so overwhelming.

But the past six weeks I've been home, and doing little bits at a time. And I can see my floors.

I've taken about twenty five bags of rubbish, clutter and old clothes and shoes to the tip, I've cleaned away the worst of the dust and grime, I've got a clean kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. I've got several bags of toys and kid stuff to give away on Facebook or somewhere.

Started with cleaning my fridge, now I'm living independently in a nearly sorted house. Got some decluttering to do, need some furniture to tidy craft stuff into, and put my sewing machine away.

I also sorted out my airing cupboard as I am having a new boiler fitted in it on Monday. I also varnished the final door. Been doing one a day. It’s nice to achieve something every day. Obviously in between wfh and team meetings.

There's a lot to be said for washing things. I always think my car goes better when it's had a clean

I cleaned cats litter trays. Go me

I tidied the lounge including the book shelves and the dumping grounds down the side of the sofa and next to the toy storage. I also did under and behind the sofas.
I also walked the dog to the vet instead of driving 3 miles each way (we both need the exercise!)

Tomorrow I’m going to deal with the stuff dumped on the kitchen table and by the front door.

Great thread! I really need one of those decluttering experts to come in & throw a bomb into my house! I did clean the kitchen & hoover downstairs. Thought very hard about sorting out the piles of clothes in our room. I have a trying on pile but am hesitating because I’ve piled on weight lately & am pretty sure most of it won’t fit anymore 😢

I did actually clean out my shed today. It’s only taken 3 years. DD’s old high chair was in there rotting along with about 8000 spiders and a foot of shite I’d just chucked in. If I can’t see it, it doesn’t exist!

I've just done that. And then got pushed out of the way by one of them needing a wee in the new litter.🤦🏻‍♀️

I did battle with the broadband/tv/phone supplier. Three times. Still not sorted but I did the battles.

On the plus side I now know my sort code off by heart.
