All my pubes have fallen out

What the fuck do I do?

I usually use an in shower hair removal cream to tidy it up a bit down there. Rather than using the usual Nair one I used one I got off Amazon, assumed the timings were the same and now I have no pubes. Well, 2 pubes actually. But they’re both about an inch long and on the right flap so I think they’ll have to go too.

I’ve got a date tomorrow. It will only be the fourth time I’ve seen him. I shagged him last time I saw him and my pubes were in a totally normal format. Now I’m all bald Sad.

I really like him and now I have to tell him not to be alarmed that I suddenly have no pubes. I do not have a pretty enough vag to be able to pull this look off, it’s fucking horrifying.

@briebuiltthiscity it's only a joke, a quote from scary movie

charmsofasimplelife · 27/09/2020 10:28

They'll start growing back in a few days.

I really don't see an issue at all?

If your having sex this bloke really won't care (and will probably be used to seeing bold bits if he's had a few sexual partners)

Midwife1997 · 27/09/2020 11:36

I've been laughing at this thread since last night How do we get it into classics? Cockmagic......"Psssst" as the pants are whipped off.

I met dh on a Saturday night out.. Date arranged for the Wednesday... Shagged him on the Monday. Needed to know if it was worth turning up for the date!!

wizzbangfizz · 27/09/2020 11:49

All off here and late 40s! I think it is the standard thing?

Jenasaurus · 27/09/2020 11:59

I didn't realise it was safe to use those creams down there i like mine all off for comfort but use a razor, which isn't ideal, may have a go with the cream next time. ( I remove it for me as im single, so not for sex purposes just my own preference)

StarlightLady · 27/09/2020 12:38

@Jenasaurus - Try Veet Sensitive as opposed to the standard creams. Time things carefully and l find a little “coaxing” with a razor helps.

Gwenhwyfar · 27/09/2020 12:43

" I thought most people had all the hair off?"

Under 40 maybe? Do most middle aged women also have all the hair off?

Gwenhwyfar · 27/09/2020 12:46

@WunWun

I have never heard of someone thinning out their pubes! Surely that looks worse than full bush?! Thin straggly pubes.. like a teenage boy who can't grow a proper beard Grin
Me neither. I've heard of people just trimming them shorter, getting all off, just doing the bits that stick out (bikine line) and all sorts of things in between, but never 'thinning out'.
Seventytwoseventythree · 27/09/2020 12:50

Please share what cream it was OP! I have everything off (personal choice) and several partners have commented they liked it, maybe he’ll be pleased

MimosaFields · 27/09/2020 12:52

I'm over 50 and it's always been all-hair-off for me, and I know I'm not unusual amongst my friends. It's a question of preferences not age

mintbiscuit · 27/09/2020 13:07

Sorry for your loss OP, but this thread is brilliant!!

This absolutely needs a place in classics!

nosswith · 27/09/2020 13:19

This made me laugh. Hopefully if the OPs boyfriend laughs it will mean he lasts a bit longer in bed!

thesecangettofuck · 27/09/2020 13:33

Eee they'll be itchy coming back in

LoeliaPonsonby · 27/09/2020 14:47

Place marking for post date update Grin

You said 'not unusual amongst your friends'. Not all of them though? If you were younger it might be all or nearly all your friends. Age surely does come into this though doesn't it? When I was young in the 90s women on TV had pubes, they don't now. I'm talking normal TV, not porn.

What are you watching? 😂

Although, Naked Attraction, men don’t have pubes.

I’m in my 30s and as far as I know we were Brazilians or nothing when younger but now it’s just pruning in a needs must basis...

WunWun · 27/09/2020 18:04

I remember a member of L7 pulling her knickers down on The Word. She had pubes.

MorganKitten · 27/09/2020 19:14

Not if op exfoliates well!
spiderbride · 27/09/2020 19:19

Tell him it's doing the shaved head challenge for lockdown

GoneAndDoneItAgainAgain · 27/09/2020 19:29

He didn’t even comment. Not sure whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing really.

Even if it is standard it’s not for me, I’m afraid. Every time I look down there’s all sorts looking back at me that is normally nicely obscured (from my POV at least) by my pubes.
