All my pubes have fallen out

What the fuck do I do?

I usually use an in shower hair removal cream to tidy it up a bit down there. Rather than using the usual Nair one I used one I got off Amazon, assumed the timings were the same and now I have no pubes. Well, 2 pubes actually. But they’re both about an inch long and on the right flap so I think they’ll have to go too.

I’ve got a date tomorrow. It will only be the fourth time I’ve seen him. I shagged him last time I saw him and my pubes were in a totally normal format. Now I’m all bald Sad.

I really like him and now I have to tell him not to be alarmed that I suddenly have no pubes. I do not have a pretty enough vag to be able to pull this look off, it’s fucking horrifying.

@Justmuddlingalong

Just before sex, as you're/he's removing your drawers, scream "holy shit! What's happened here?"
😂🤣😂🤣
cliffdiver · 27/09/2020 08:32

Will from The Inbetweeners used a wig.

Do you have access to a care home?

Oldraver · 27/09/2020 08:40

Many many years ago I used Immac on my bikini line and got in with rest of my showering

When I washed it off it had migrated across and I had some kind of weird arced Mohican

fuckyoucoronaihavelostmyjob · 27/09/2020 08:45

This has made my morning. Brilliant

WunWun · 27/09/2020 08:47

I have never heard of someone thinning out their pubes! Surely that looks worse than full bush?! Thin straggly pubes.. like a teenage boy who can't grow a proper beard Grin

SisyphusAndTheRockOfUntidiness · 27/09/2020 08:51

"I should remove the 2 stragglers though, it makes it look even worse."
"Yes, you don’t want it looking a bit... Gollum"

I am crying with laughter. And I've nominated for Classics.

AltoCation · 27/09/2020 08:52

I can't see this being an issue... I thought most people had all the hair off

Not amongst anyone I know.

AltoCation · 27/09/2020 08:54

By which I mean most people I know don’t do more than a tidy of anything that shows beyond swimwear.

GoneAndDoneItAgainAgain · 27/09/2020 09:09

It shortens them as well wunwun. I don’t rub it all the way in iyswim so it’s stops them being quite so long. I am an incredibly hairy woman and it’s never got anywhere near stripping me bald.

Nandakanda · 27/09/2020 09:10

Just keep it as a nice little surprise.

I'm sure he'll be delighted.

GoneAndDoneItAgainAgain · 27/09/2020 09:11

I’m mid 30’s and all my friends just do a tidy up to look presents in swimwear style as far as I know. Maybe it’s an age thing and younger ones all have bald fannies? I’ll ask my friends in more detail next time I see them.

But don’t they then have that slightly burnt texture? Wouldn’t trimming be easier?
iamusuallybeingunreasonable · 27/09/2020 09:13

Get one of those semi permanent eyebrow pencils and draw it back one, he'll absolutely love it, especially when he tries to run his fingers through it Grin

GoneAndDoneItAgainAgain · 27/09/2020 09:14

I’d be scared of snipping something that I shouldn’t! I’ve never considered the texture of my pubes but I don’t think they were ever burnt. They just stopped at the end.

I am genuinely surprised at how many people say that all off is standard. I thought it was just a sex person thing.

I'm late 30s and everything waxed off, pretty normal on my group. I have everything off as I can feel everything much better, you're in for a treat!

No man has ever asked what is going on with my pubes from waxed, in between stage to fucking hell the wax is really overdue!

notso · 27/09/2020 09:25

I took all mine off once. I got carried away and left a tiny strip which looked ridiculous so I took that off as well.
DH was horrified, it took me ages to persuade him to go anywhere near me and when we did finally have sex it was incredibly chafe-y and uncomfortable. Never again.
Thoughts and prayers for your loss OP Thanks

RedLipsAndRosyCheeks · 27/09/2020 09:26

OP, the sex people reference has made my day!

I've nominated this for classics.

StarlightLady · 27/09/2020 09:30

Early 40s and all off here, sister (older than me) is the same. Ditto most close friends. Can’t speak for those l know less well. It’s girly friend chat.

ReginaPhalangee · 27/09/2020 09:31

I bought some wax strips in a foreign country many many years ago... obvs couldn't read the instructions so I guessed what I had to do with them, wrongly as it turned out. Was left with pubes like superglue which stuck to my underwear for a fortnight... going to the loo, and every evening getting ready for bed, was like torture

StarlightLady · 27/09/2020 09:31

To add, it’s certainly normal.

CodenameVillanelle · 27/09/2020 09:35

@Barryisland

You had sex on the 3rd date?
Hahaha OMG are you for real??

Grin I hate to break it to you but I think you're a sex person too you know!
briebuiltthiscity · 27/09/2020 09:40

It’s quite a usual thing. I recall a news article about how public live had practically been eradicated as an std due to the fact that so many don’t have pubes anymore - and tbis was years ago.

Shaving your Pubic hair will not rid you of lice infestation!

(If you know, you know)

briebuiltthiscity · 27/09/2020 10:06

@fuckyoucoronaihavelostmyjob it appears that, erm, deforestation has removed their natural habitat
