What do you get from Greggs?

What is your go to greggs food?

Cheese and onion pasty
Sausage roll

Iced ring doughnut
latte

My dc love the gingerbread men, but you have to go early to get one as they tend to sell out.

The coffee they sell knocks the socks of the likes of Costa and it’s much cheaper.

I’ve just read this whole thread despite the fact no carb has passed my joyless lips for 8 months

God i love a steak bake. And a beef and Stilton roll. I’d have a chicken bake if neither of the above available. A sausage roll too mmmmm. And that my friends is why no lovely lovely carbs can be in my life anymore 😔

Not at all, I just don't see the point of travelling to a Greggs to buy a meal and then bring it home, far easier to just make something myself

Sausage, bean and cheese melt. Every single time.

Nothing. I once watched a programme about a Gregg's factory. Pastry was laid out on the production line and this grey, gooey stuff was extruded onto the pastry. They were apparently making sausage rolls and it put me off for life. I prefer making my own sausage rolls, using, amongst other things, 100% minced pork (eyeball and arsehole free).

Not read the full thread so sorry if this has already been postulated (if it has, please ignore me), but does anyone else wonder if this is an amazing marketing and market research idea by someone who works at Gregg's?

Steak bake or chicken bake for me and a sausage roll for Resident Collie. I used to like their chocolate ring donuts, but they're currently not back on the menu.

So I’m not at all proud of this, but a few years ago (when I was heavier and unhealthier) I would get a pack of four sausage rolls and scoff them all for lunch
Or I also absolutely loved the steak and cheese rolls that looked like sausage rolls but they discontinued those I believe!
I usually love sandwiches and baguettes but I’m not a fan of the ones at greggs at all and I don’t like any of the bakes/other pastry’s, I also don’t have a sweet tooth so I never get cakes ect.
Nowadays I just get one sausage roll as a very rare treat (but if I could get away with living on them I 100% would )

I'd make a special trip to Greggs if I wanted to it's one of the bonuses of being an adult you get to choose what, when and where you eat.

I've never been in one as I'm in Cornwall and pasty shops are everywhere but no Greggs.

@ShaunaTheSheep. There’s one 15 mins from me and I used to pop in every few weeks if I fancied a change from instant noodles for lunch.

Going through a cheese & onion pasty and chicken bake phase. Have to try the sausage, bean & cheese bake and the festive bake.

Breakfast sausage roll and coffee., doughnuts, chicken bake, cheese toasties.

What you going on about badges and policing, just because you dont eat there so why reply to a thread that literally says 'what do you eat'
