What is your go to greggs food?

Vegan steak bake

A steak bake. And if it's near Christmas then a festive bake. They're the best.

I loooove the virtual signalling on junk food threads.

Oh no, I could never buy a sausage roll when I have the wherewithal to make flaky pastry from scratch and raise and slaughter my own pigs.

Ugh, I have never set foot in a Greggs! Too many working class people!

(Me? I love a chicken bake. Frigging delicious).

@hopelessbusiness A square of sponge similar to madeira, covered in pink icing. Sounds simple but it really is so good! I might have to make a trip to Greggs after school pick up now....

Chicken tandoori baguette delicious! Had one just last week actually.

Pizza slice and a sausage roll usually

I used to get 2 x steak and stiltion rolls but not had them for over a year now. I had to go cold turkey....i think it was a pregnancy craving. No one else belives me tho 😂😂 i was there constantly for them!

We have 3 greggs in our town centre alone, probably 6 in the entire town.

Caramel doughnut
Belgian bun
Bread pudding slice

Sausage roll, yum yums, all the doughnuts. I haven't tried much else tbf but maybe I should. Now I need to go to Greggs😫

I was in the queue once (egg custard for me, triple chocolate doughnut for DH) and the man behind me loudly asked his children if they wanted a chocolate starfish . I assume he meant a Spikey Mikey!

I go in fully intending to try the vegan sausage roll but when crunch time comes I order the cheese and onion pasty. I missed Greggs more than any other takeaway/fast food in full lockdown. When it reopened the queue was round the block!!

I don’t eat there often (maybe once every couple of years) so haven’t really explored the menu but when I do go I either have the chicken or steak bake.

They don't sell Tottenham cake in my area but I always get it if I'm down south visiting family.

I used to love the ham cheese and relish oval bites they did until they stopped them.

Now I get a cheese pasty and a caramel doughnut. Or one of the iced sandwich biscuits with the glace cherry.
