Because bitter male cucumbers don't bring joy, but phallic aubergines can raise an irreverent smile.

AD chat continues about life, the universe and everything. We know the answer is 42 but what is the question?
6x7?
How many roads must a man walk down?
How many unsadly reincarnations have PHE put into the database?

What even is Oxygen Saturation? Is this the next frontier in perfectionist parenting? "Yes I know EVERYONE else is doing daily temperature checks, but we just felt that we needed to go that bit further to keep us all safe".

pollyhemlock · 23/08/2020 17:27

Oxygen saturation? Wtf? I find it sad and worrying that so many people seem to be so very very frightened.

MagdaS · 23/08/2020 17:37

When I had Covid my oxygen saturation was completely normal, so it’s not going to tell them anything anyway. Hmm

Well obviously you didn't have it or you would have been at 50% o2 levels and struggling to breath with a temp of 35.4. (35 being the acceptable temp according to many places using those forehead 'guns') 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes sorry, I can’t have had it, I’m alive to tell the tale Grin

Maybe they like playing with their new gadget?

I got one of those little machines - it take BP as well and did play with it a bit Blush.

It was recommned as a device for asthmatics as a useful bit of information along with peak flow meter readings just in case we came down with covid. It just sits in the medicine cupboard and wasn't very expensive.

I can't see why daily reading would be nessesary at all.

WouldBeGood · 23/08/2020 18:11

Worryingly, they seem to be a teacher.

I’m glad everyone here thinks this is pish. I feel I have enough failings as a mother without adding my failure to perform medical tests on DC to the list.
