Dog owners/walkers-how do you feel about picking up poo?

I mean just that. To clarify I've only maybe once or twice failed to pick up after mine, in decades of dog owning. I always do it unless I really can't*. I hear other people who own dogs saying they really don't mind, It's nothing doesn't bother them. I have to admit I really dislike doing it although I do it. It grosses me out. I breathe in and hold my breath while I do it Grin
My ex who co owns the dog with me doesn't mind one bit.
Does it bother you doing it?
*once she did it on a very busy road. I almost got run over. I hung about waiting for a gap in the traffic that didn't happen or at least not before the poo had more or less disappeared.
Another time she was off leash and I'm sure she did it but it was dark and in a very overgrown area. Couldn't find it. I picked up someone else's that was on the path on the way home as I felt that was making up for it somewhat (& it was in a place much more likely to be stood in).

Don't really think about it now. Had dogs for the past twenty years so have picked up lots!

I wish I could pick up other dog's poo but it makes me feel sick. Strange but I see I'm not alone. I hate people that don't pick it up. Lazy and disgusting.

I do it without blinking, every single time. I will carry the poo bag to the bin (usually works out to be about 8 minutes). I do hold my breath to do it though and I'm sorry I draw the line at other dogs poo.

It's still disgusting. Just as well she's so cute (and not too big). Has anyone else noticed how chirpy they Get after they have just done one too? I'm like 🤮 and she's almost skipping along.

@diddl I bagged it & sent the kids running after her with it shouting "your dog poo, we bagged it for you. Here's your dog poo..."

Haha good for you!!! Nicely done!!! I won't let mine go anywhere near anyone's drive or garden and can't imagine them not even picking it up! Awful behaviour!

@VinylDetective

The only thing that bothers me is the warmth. I’m not bothered by the smell or the texture but a warm turd makes me feel a touch queasy. I know I’m weird!
Same here. I hate it. I have a pooper scooper so I don’t have to feel the warmth.
