I mean just that. To clarify I've only maybe once or twice failed to pick up after mine, in decades of dog owning. I always do it unless I really can't*. I hear other people who own dogs saying they really don't mind, It's nothing doesn't bother them. I have to admit I really dislike doing it although I do it. It grosses me out. I breathe in and hold my breath while I do it 
My ex who co owns the dog with me doesn't mind one bit.
Does it bother you doing it?
*once she did it on a very busy road. I almost got run over. I hung about waiting for a gap in the traffic that didn't happen or at least not before the poo had more or less disappeared.
Another time she was off leash and I'm sure she did it but it was dark and in a very overgrown area. Couldn't find it. I picked up someone else's that was on the path on the way home as I felt that was making up for it somewhat (& it was in a place much more likely to be stood in).
