Mostly baby led. Spoon fed on occasion. Definitely not organic as I remembered I had to eat too

I thought my next door neighbour was a bad mother for screaming at her DC and I would never do this. Most of the other things I kept to.

My home was going to stay tidy and beautiful - toys would be limited to the kids bedrooms and maybe one small basket in the family room.

There are toys EVERYWHERE.

Oh yes to this. My old next door neighbour used to screech her eldest name constantly. My DC1 was a newborn at the time. I judged. And I paid for it. I'm the screechy one now (we've since moved house, which is a shame because at least she'd have understood).

I wasn’t going to move my precious and breakable things. I was just going to say ‘No’ firmly and that would be enough. My parents like to bring this up from time to time and that baby is now a teenager...
