Have you ever used a male escort?

Just curious really!

I spent last night with a male escort. Not actually as a client but 'personal'. We connected on a dating app and he was very open about what he does, and since neither of us are looking for anything serious, I thought that as long as we were safe I would still like to see him

Ended up having without a doubt the most incredible night of my life, and when I was telling a friend about it this morning and she jokingly asked if he was with his rates, I honestly said I would pay double (even if I was getting about £500 worth of his 'services' free Grin).

It got me thinking, there is obviously a market for this out there and obviously discretion is key so whilst I probably think I don't know anyone who has used a male escort, there must be women I know who have. So I wondered I would ask the sophisticated ladies of mumsnet to see what their experiences have been?!

What's the difference between personal and as a client? Did you pay him? If you didnt it's just a random you met online, not an escort.

PurpleMackington · 02/08/2020 09:36

No I didnt pay him, and yes I'm aware that it's no different for me than any other sexual encounter. But I suppose I'd just been naive to the existence of make escorts outside of big cities etc and wondered if it was more normal than I realised!

I wouldn’t use an escort because as a woman then I don’t have too. I know for a fact that female escorts do the job for money and the freedom of time that the job allows them to have, but with men having to have an erection to sleep with a woman, then if she is ugly or unhygienic then how on earth do the male escorts manage it?! My fear would be that he just loves sex and with anybody and there is a huge chance he is bisexual, I don’t believe that many women pay for sex, we don’t need too, no matter how attractive or unattractive we may be!

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 09:40

He obviously fancied you though and escorts are mainly professional in that they would let you know prior to seeing them that it was a paid meet, plus you met him in the usual routes, as in no male escort site for you, escorts have personal sex lives too, you need to or you would crack up!

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 09:42

@AriettyHomily I would have thought the difference was wholly obviousHmm, he is an escort when he is using a fake ‘working’ name and he isn’t attracted to the clients, it’s all business, and with personal sex then he is there because he wants to be and not because he needs the cash to pay his rent.

OP is he very buff? Most male escorts are very Essex looking if you see what I mean?

emilybrontescorsett · 02/08/2020 09:43

I suppose it's no different from a woman who works in the sex industry having or wanting a boyfriend. To answer your question, no I have never used an escort, I once thought about it but didn't get any further.

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 09:45

I think it’s slightly different though because the female escorts are genuinely only in it for the great cash, but I think some men just want the sex and that’s why they do it.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 02/08/2020 09:46

@Inappropriatefemale, how do they cope with it? Viagra surely?!

stellabelle · 02/08/2020 09:47

Inappropriatefemale

with men having to have an erection to sleep with a woman

Viagra and Cialis make sure of that !,

TheLegendOfZelda · 02/08/2020 09:53

Viagra doesn't produce erections if the desire isn't there. Maybe other things do, I don't know?

Does he mostly sleep with men?

I honestly don't see the point in paying. Whatever you want, there will be a man willing to do it for free. So many men, in fact, that you can choose the ones you fancy. No more safety when paying than not. So why bother?

TheMarzipanDildo · 02/08/2020 09:59

I get very judgemental about people who pay for sex! Regardless of whether the escort is male or female, or whether or not they are very into sex, they probably don’t fancy all (most) of their clients, at which point it’s just grim.
Completely different situation with you, who he actually fancied.

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 10:01

Viagra doesn’t necessarily make guys come though, and it may not go hard for when they need it too and women would be well aware of that!

However most men that pay for sex are very deluded as to why women do that god awful job, they tell themselves that the women are just nymphos, but I don’t know if women that pay are the same, I doubt it though as women aren’t as obsessed with their own vagina and pleasure the same way men are with their penis and their pleasure, pathetic.

@TheLegendOfZelda the OP didn’t pay for sex, she had a date with a man that is a male escort.

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 10:02

I am an ex escort and I too am judgmental about men that pay for sex, even though they were my bread and butter for so long! I hate them and it’s sexual abuse of a kind

KittyHawke80 · 02/08/2020 10:03

What a very curious thing to assume, that there's a 'huge chance' he's bisexual, or 'usually sleeps with men'. Baffling.

AllsortsofAwkward · 02/08/2020 10:10

I would think its abit grim to pay for a male escort and certainly wouldn't date one and be intimate when he's sleeping with numberous women regularly.

AllsortsofAwkward · 02/08/2020 10:10

Not to mention if hes also sleeping with men. I eouldnt risk my secual health.

PurpleMackington · 02/08/2020 10:22

I've seen his erm, 'advert' Blush and he is absolutely advertised as a straight male escort. Actually the whole website is aimed at female clientele.

I'm having casual sex, being selective in who I sleep with but I wont pretend it's a small number of people. I'm using condoms, taking regular STI tests, so I wont judge him for sleeping with numerous other people. He is also required to have regular STI tests and a clean bill of sexual health in order to 'advertise'.

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 10:30

@KittyHawke80 I assume this because as someone that was in the sex industry for 15 years then I know what I’m talking about and to make a decent living from it then a male escort would most likely have to sleep with paying men, women generally don’t pay for sex, maybe there is a market for this down in London but not up here in central Scotland.

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 10:32

@PurpleMackington he must work for an agency then because I have never heard of having to prove your clean to get work, usually people that run agencies aren’t the nicest people and so they don’t give a shit about the escorts health, they just want the money.

Anyway he should be using condoms.

Inappropriatefemale · 02/08/2020 10:33

It’s down to the escort themselves to get tested and most escorts with half a brain will do this every 12 weeks.

I obviously used condoms but with oral then 90% of clients want oral without a condom, however women overall practice safe sex more than men and this is a fact.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 02/08/2020 10:34

I’m not sure there is such a market

Anyone can hook up for sex on tinder etc if you make it clear that’s all you want

Many men like to pay for sex as it’s totally about their needs and what they want it has nothing to do with a connection they feel. I don’t think as many women do want sex without some sort of connection even if it’s just for a few hours

ClickandForget · 02/08/2020 10:35

I might be naive but don't a significant number of female clients hire a male "escort" for exactly that. An escort to an event etc so she doesn't have to turn up alone? And a human base to return to in a room full of strangers? I know a woman who does this. She's quite a high earner and has to attend various functions associated with her job.
The escort does nothing else except attend the function. They arrive together but go home seperately.

PurpleMackington · 02/08/2020 10:36

@Inappropriatefemale is that a fact? I can't get my head round it - if we are talking specifically about heterosexual sex then surely it isnt possible for women to practice safe sex more than men, as each encounter is 50/50? For every heterosexual encounter when a man is not having safe sex, there is also a woman not having safe sex?

OP posts:
Bluntness100 · 02/08/2020 10:36

No I wouldn’t have sex with or pay to have sex with a Male prostitute.

Do you use the word escort to soften that’s what he is? I don’t know any woman who has had to pay for sex. Nor do I know any woman who would need to Or want to, whatever that may look like..

PurpleMackington · 02/08/2020 10:37

@ClickandForget this is absolutely the service that is advertised. I think career women etc who need a date for corporate events and things like that.
