True! I haven't noticed any in any of the Playmo medical sets though... Grin

I’m glad you’re starting to feel a little better and that you’ve got the reassurance of the oxygen monitor. Sorry not to have checked in more with you but things are pretty full on here with elderly relative needing a lot of care. You have been in my thoughts though.

Horsemad · 24/01/2021 08:53

How are you today @SoMuchToBits? Hope your sats are still ok. 👍

SoMuchToBits · 24/01/2021 09:03

Ah, thank you petal, I did think you would have been busy with relative. Hope you are managing to get things sorted out there.

I'm feeling a bit more normal again today. Not achy or shivery yet, still coughing but productively. Still feel quite weedy, but am planning to increase my activity gradually as I feel better.

I just feel lucky really that I haven't had it very badly. Hopefully I'll soon be back to some Playmo scenes! Smile I'm just drinking my way through a pot of tea with Norm, while ds is having a lie-in. He has been fab though, doing the cooking every night (even though I've not wanted much to eat), washing up etc. I really have a lot to be grateful for!

Sats are still fine thanks Horse! Smile

Good to hear SoMuch 🙂 Your DS sounds a star, taking care of you.

SoMuchToBits · 24/01/2021 09:19

Yes, he has been really helpful, Horse and has kept me cheerful when I've felt a bit fed up. Smile

Good to hear that Norman’s helping with the tea Brew

SoMuchToBits · 24/01/2021 11:50

Norman's always ready with the kettle! Brew Smile

Talking of Playmo, DD doesn't have any but her best friend does & they always play with it. They do lots of imaginative play, they both do American accents which is so cute!

Glad you're still feeling ok Brew

NoGoodPunsLeft · 24/01/2021 15:39

And your DS sounds like a good egg, you've obviously raised him right Smile

Deathraystare · 24/01/2021 19:18

Has Playmobil land had much snow?

SoMuchToBits · 24/01/2021 20:22

It did have snow before I had Covid... will have to see if it still does when I can next make some scenes! But I'm still feeling ok this evening, still have the cough and feel tired, but otherwise ok! Smile

Take it easy Bits. And get well soon.

SoMuchToBits · 24/01/2021 22:38

Am taking it easy elephant. There's no other way to go, since I'm still self-isolating for a while...

petalpower · 25/01/2021 07:41

Glad you’re still continuing to slowly improve SoMuch. Is DS still ok? I knew he’d be a star and really look after you, he’s a good chap.

SoMuchToBits · 25/01/2021 08:22

Thank you petal! I've had another good night's sleep, and didn't need to take any paracetamol yesterday, as the aching and shivering seems to have gone now. Still coughing and feel a bit weedy, but that's about all now.

Ds is still fine, no symptoms at all. We're thinking of doing a lateral flow test on him to see if he has it asymptomatically, as I have loads of tests left which I now don't need...

And yes, he's been really helpful, doing all the cooking, washing up etc (although I'm now able to help again).

Hope things aren't going too badly in your house...

OP posts:
SoMuchToBits · 25/01/2021 08:37

Oh, and the other symptom I still have is a strange rash on my front! Only noticed it the other day, but apparently it can be a Covid symptom.

OP posts:
SoMuchToBits · 26/01/2021 14:03

Did a lateral flow test on ds last night, which was negative, so we don't think he has had it. Still feeling a bit better, just need to get my strength up a bit now. Smile

AvengingGerbil · 26/01/2021 16:36

Glad you are feeling better SoMuch - but keep taking it easy! And glad to hear DS has escaped the plague.

SoMuchToBits · 27/01/2021 08:43

I'm planning to increase my activity gradually until I go back to work. Then it won't come as such a shock when I go back!

OP posts:
SoMuchToBits · 28/01/2021 18:02

Have done a few bits of housework the last couple of days. Friend kindly dropped off some more shopping today. Looking forward to actually getting out of the house on Sunday. Now I'm feeling better, I'm getting slightly stir crazy! Grin

OP posts:
elephantoverthehill · 28/01/2021 18:19

That's a sign of getting better Bits, I hope you continue to strengthen and recover.

SoMuchToBits · 28/01/2021 22:44

Thanks elephant, need to get some scenes done soon. Am well behind what I was going to do! Bloomin' Covid...

SoMuchToBits · 31/01/2021 10:58

And finally...

... I've been down to the summer house and retrieved some Playmo!

The health care workers are having their vaccinations. Matthew the pharmacist, Rachel the nurse and Melvyn the paramedic are waiting for their jabs.
