Just saying the same to DH (a Spurs fan). They either all have very talented housemates, or there has been some undercover hairdressing going on.

I have those floaty long scarves family went through a spate of buying for me, thin as gauze and nearly as transparent, I have dug them out for next week will wear around neck and pull up if necessary. I tried a mask at the start of all this, lasted two minutes with a combination of asthma and hayfever was just too short of breath.

I wish I could find myself an undercover hairdresser

Well DS is beside himself we have said his girlfriend can come to stay. Going to meet up halfway with her parents and whisk her home for a visit. I can see us taking long walks to give them some privacy (cough)

I wrote a post for the other thread then stepped away. I am.going to bed soon amd dont need to be dragged into getting wound up. I will not rise to thier vitriol it is just unecessary. People are so full of hate and some obviously have not read many threads on here in past couple of months! Ignorance is bliss!!

My employer has paid for all staff to have a delivery of masks sent to our homes, whether we are customer facing or not. Which I actually find really good of them, because they didnt have to source 30,000 masks just because some staff might need public transport. Our customer facing staff already have their PPE for work.

I may not wear them, as I'll prefer a light scarf with my asthma but I appreciate the sentiment. Fucking love the association I work for!!

Oh and as for the anti anti dementor thread, I hope the poster who created it can find people as supportive to her as you guys have all been on here. Because at the end of the day we're all just trying to navigate our way through something not experienced before in our life time. I still believe in #BeKind (just not the performance version of it) and we're not going to get it right all of the time. This is why these threads are vital, because when we do fuck up or struggle we get supported not vilified.

What's everyone thinking about the schools announcement? I hope they're serious about it. At least it shows that they know how angry people are about the situation. It should hopefully put the pressure on the Sturgeon, et al.

I'm still in the hospital and getting a bit fed up with it now, but I've been poked and prodded and scanned and sucked of blood and they haven't found anything really gruesome. If my blood counts are normal tomorrow then I shall be released!

I have noticed that a lot of the anti-Covid measures take no account of disabilities and in some cases actively make like more difficult.

Was it Wales who gave us the idea of asking of Equality Impact Statement for these policies (not on public transport obviously, but when we oppose them formally)?

I'm neutral on the schools announcement as I don't believe Boris and Williamson's words at the briefing leave plenty of opportunity to deliver bigger all useful. But fingers crossed they follow through and all children are back full time in September (with an extra plea for wrap around). Also would really like guidance for holiday clubs to come soon please as well

Be strong Desmond you dont need to justify yourself to anyone in public transport. I would hate a mask I would itch to pieces. It would defeat the purpose.
