The tv sometimes goes on after dinner when we’ve landed on a good Netflix. We watched ozarks and then normal people, which was a bit sexy when you’re the size of a fucking dcs sofa.

I ordered a new tumble dryer, this morning. The one I'd been looking at was reduced in the John Lewis sale. I will never buy a heat pump dryer again.

I feel that too, anxious about behaving in certain ways, who the other person feels and might react, whether I am judging he situation correctly

I've taken to seeing whether friends are willing to meet up in the park, then when we get there having a good moan about the whole situation and seeing where things go.

It's funny, I always used to wonder about people who lived in places where there was a coup etc and it became unsafe to criticise the government. I thought that surely they must know their good friends well enough to know who would agree with them and not turn them in. Obviously not saying our situation is in any way comparable, but it has made me realise that I can't second guess my friends' reactions anywhere near as well as I thought. They probably feel the same about me, as I'm not at all outspoken in general.

Hello everyone! I can't keep up today but just waving hello.

I just went for a long walk and I had to cross a recreation ground to get home. There was a sports club going on! About 15 young children having their football club, with parents milling around on the sidelines with babies in pushchairs and dogs. Two coaches working, two benches occupied by kissing teenagers. It was so bizarre in all honesty and such a lovely sight. Children should be doing things like that now - it's so safe outdoors after all.

On a previous thread a PP asked about the age of a child having to wear a mask on the bus, I relied with an article from the Guardian saying they had to if over two.

It seems this was wrong, sorry, as I have just seen this on the BBC news

Morning. I have a hangover. The ILs left and the neighbours came over. Kids went and watched a film inside and we sat in the garden drinking and chatting. It was great. I feel a lot less down than I did yesterday morning.

I bet that was exciting. I want to do more 'illegal' things but the one person I would be up for it is so 'the roolz'. Had a sd coffee in her garden but when I left I went for a hug and she stepped back. I said it's perfectly safe as we are breathing over each others shoulders. She half heartedly agreed but it meant so much. It's only the second time I've touched someone for 12 weeks.

And the other things I want to do are impossible because they aren't open

Local town going to be using heat temperature gun things for people in the queues for the shops. I am really uncomfortable with this, we (as a nation) seems to be rolling over and accepting things that are a major infringement on our human rights. Why is that we have so many conditions on an activity such as shopping?

Dedicated home to school transport is also exempt from masks being required. My daughter travels on a school bus and we got and email the other day confirming this.

DH has a rather wicked sense of humour and he has suggested that if you wish to protest mask wearing you could always Sharpie 'Free Hugs!' on your mask .

Good letter in times today about getting schools back to normal. Why oh why is there still a majority believing schools can't return till 2021?!

I'm so envious of NZ. Free of virus. All back to normal and they're on their way into summer. We on the other hand are being told second wave coming in winter and further school closures will be needed. 😢
