Would you have them in your home?

Macrame can be hit or miss so curious to see what people say.

I like the table runner. Love plant hangers too.

Idododoidadada · 23/05/2020 18:30

No.
Not my cup of tea. Dust catchers.

icelollycraving · 23/05/2020 18:32

Not for me. I’m a child of the 70s.

grannyhorse · 23/05/2020 18:36

No thank you

StarShapedWindow · 23/05/2020 18:37

I like the chair and the moon. I also think the plant holders are attractive but I wouldn’t use them personally.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/05/2020 18:40

I'm a child of the 70s and I love the plant hangers! It's just reminded me that had macrame lightshades when I was a child, I used to think them very stylish.

icelollycraving · 23/05/2020 18:43

hairyhands so did my mum and dad. They’d be very insta worthy now!

loutypips · 23/05/2020 18:44

Nope.

Spied · 23/05/2020 18:45

Probably not

Flamingo25 · 23/05/2020 18:46

Yep I’d have them all. Love them!

Bluntness100 · 23/05/2020 18:46

I think they look nice on their own but no I’d not have them in my home, it just reminds me of a seventies hippy vibe,

Pipandmum · 23/05/2020 18:47

No. I remember them first time around and can't divorce the style from the time and the type of people who had this stuff. I prefer something less hippy dippy.

Vamoosh · 23/05/2020 18:47

I love them but they wouldn’t go with my decor.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/05/2020 18:47

They would be, Icelolly, they had wooden beads in some of the holes too. I can almost hear Joni Mitchell and smell the roast lamb cooking, it's taken me right back!

crustycrab · 23/05/2020 18:48

No

Oldandcobwebby · 23/05/2020 18:50

Not for me. I didn't like them first time round in the 1970s either

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 23/05/2020 18:51

Only like the plant holders. As stated previously - they are serious dust collectors.

onesmalldog · 23/05/2020 18:53

I don't like macrame but I do like that hanging chair.

alittlerespectgoesalongway · 23/05/2020 18:54

No for me.

DarylDixonsHair · 23/05/2020 18:55

Hmm... That's a lot of no's 😂

My little business has shriveled up and died since lockdown. I'd like to start something else. I'm good at macrame, I sold macrame jewelry on the beach for a while but it doesn't sell very well in the UK. I can crochet very basic things, but they take too long and there is a lot of competition. I would love to learn to sew but it would take a while to get up to professional standard.

I've no idea what to make!

I like it and I think it would appeal to millenials.

Herpesfreesince03 · 23/05/2020 19:04

I love them! How much for the moon thingy??!!

Crunchymum · 23/05/2020 19:05

I like the screen but I dont think it would do what it's meant to do (screen off part of the room)

wildthingsinthenight · 23/05/2020 19:05

I like the table runner and the plant hangers
