Perhaps my upholstery project might be a little too much for my capabilities, but it's keeping me busy

I’ve learnt how to twerk

I can now make risotto! I'm surprised how easy it is. I always thought it was tricky (which is why I've never made it before) but actually it's quite straightforward.

Print out photos from a big holiday we went on six years ago!

Get well into my to-read-pile. Only the physical books though. Kindle still has hundreds to go

Change the toilet seat I've been wanting to change for about 2 years from a white one to a black one.

Me too! I finally made a lovely Victoria sponge, I could have cried 😆 I'm now going to try a walnut and coffee cake. Wish me luck! ☺️

Sort out all the pencils and pens in the house (hundreds!) into organised boxes... and chuck out all the ones that don't work...... very sad I know but it feels good

Paint my garden fences! It looks so much better now. I've totally lost all motivation to decorate anywhere inside though.

Like thousands elsewhere, I've learnt to bake sourdough. Also to enjoy the little things

Muck out the front bedroom (jeeez, that was bad)
Deep clean the conservatory
Eat freezer surprise for a week
Consider U.K. holidays
Grow my hair
Be allowed to drive DHs precious car
Do a big shop in a supermarket
Start up a family what’s app
Sit in the front garden to get the last of the sun when the back garden is in shade
And last, but by no means least, have people finally recognise that the job I do is vital and the country would shut down without it.

Make proper French style chocolate mousse. And custard.

I work in compliance for a food manufacturer. Making sure our food is safe for consumers, even when manufacturing capacity has been trebled, and our support services suppliers have all but stopped, and equally, if not more importantly now, that our staff can continue to work safely.

That I can paint and decorate, and it doesn’t look half bad.
That don’t need to buy myself a new item of clothing every week just because I am walking past the shops.
That I can eat 2 take away curries in one sitting and not pop (not really something to be proud of).

What is a diamond painting ?

@samstirch it's like painting by numbers with little gems you stick on. Super tacky but therapeutic
