I'm abroad. We can go the hairdresser for cuts now. The police have to inspect the set up before the salon is allowed to open, and it's authorised person a certain number of people.
The salon is very empty. They have rearranged it all and there are markings on the floor. When you arrive you put your belongings in a binbag and then put the binbag on a personal shelf (like a locker without a door). Then you wash your hands.
4 clients max. at a time in this particular salon, 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs, and 4 stylists. Each stylist has their own client, no mixing. One client and stylish at the sinks at once.
Obviously everyone wears a mask, the stylists also wear a visor that they disinfect between clients, and a disposable apron, one per client. Instead of a cape you wear a disposable wrapper. Used towels go in a letterbox style bin.
No magazines, no products, nothing out on surfaces. The stylists fetch the products they need from a cupboard, each stylist has their own.
Everything is swept, mopped and wiped almost non stop. The 4 clients leave together and then they clean up before the next 4 come.
I am happy as I finally got my hair cut and love it now.
I would really like a bikini wax but they're not open yet.
